MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Recognize the psychological and social needs of elderly people in post emergency
To able to understand the core principles and techniques of Psychosocial Support program.
To Help participants develop necessary skills to identify causes of stress in elderly people and help vin developing coping skills.
To provide guidelines to participants to carry out Psychosocial need assessment of elderly people and making referrals.etc
Assess the beneficiaries psychological condition by using psychological tools to detect the vulnerable cases and ensure psychological follow up.
Assist in Mapping referral services and pathways, develop templates and procedures for follow up of referrals.
Participate in conducting trainings for medical and non-medical staff on MHPSS related topics (PFA).
Support the Hygiene & Health promoters to identify beneficiaries with vulnerabilities and to properly refer them to the MHPSS worker
Conducting regular Awareness raising session with target communities within Health Facilities.
Lead/Participate in the identification and selection of Community Volunteers.
Set up, monitor and develop Youth Empowerment Program (YEP), Child-Friendly Space (CFS) and community-based Psychosocial (PSS) activities in target sites, providing capacity building and field supervision for national staff on an ongoing basis.
Responsible for updating of detailed implementation/ work plan.
Completes intake assessments, evaluations, treatment recommendations, reviews, and other documentation as necessary.
Ensure continual monitoring of the project\'s progress to ensure that the project systems are working to achieve specific objectives and results.
Work to ensure that all reports are accurate, comprehensive, well documented and timely submitted to ensure the credibility of the project.
Key Responsibilities,
Evaluating patients and gathering their history before diagnosing issues that need attention through the use of tests to develop a treatment plan to ensure the health.
Conducting routine patient check-ups to assess their health condition and discover possible issues.
Reaching an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and the patients medical history.
Provide referrals when necessary for additional care, evaluation, or treatment.
Manage data and Focus on Monitoring and Evaluation strategy
Present Weekly and Monthly Progress reports to the Manager.
Conduct regular consulting in-person clinics and tele consultation.
Prescribe, direct, and administer psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
Gather and maintain patient information and records through mobile application and HMIS, including social and medical history obtained from patients, relatives, and other professionals.
Design individualized care plans, using a variety of treatments.
Provide psychological support services, assess, and help patients with psychological problems of all types and levels of severity, including anxiety, including adjustment disorders, generalized anxiety states, phobias, and panic attacks.
