• Provide technical and process support in Pre-commissioning.
• Responsible for Planning, execution and closure of Pre-startup activities. Coordination with other departments for preventive maintenance.
• Identify, develop, and implement process improvements and optimizations targeting safety, reliability, quality and yield improvements.
• Lead the shift to ensure Production against plan, timely maintenance, Daily Shift Report and Daily Production Report.
• Co-ordinate, lead and supervise the teams to start up, make market base Polyester chips through operations excellence and ensure that field operations are performed safely and optimally within design, and enforce HSE requirements for work in the plant.
• Troubleshooting of issues occurring on the plant on basis of parameters trend and plant design knowledge.
• Responsible for smooth and continuous floor operations regarding MR, AV1 & AV2, IV and other quality parameters inline with standards to minimize waste and executing activities cost effectively.
• Performance Evaluation of critical equipment including reactors, distillation columns , heat exchangers, heaters and others.
• Ensure 100% compliance of all relevant HSE procedures during issuing PTW so that work is conducted safely.
• To identify quality issues & follow up for prompt rectification of the issues highlighted.
• Calculating production and waste indices and preparing basis for comparison with other shift groups.
• To Review routine tests and results from laboratory, identifying and analyzing deviations and unusual trends, interprets reasons in terms of operations, submit conclusions and take corrective actions accordingly.

• Safe Start-up, Operation and Shut down of Sulphuric Acid Plant.
• Planning day- to- day production activities and meeting daily and Monthly production targets.
• Monitoring, maintaining and controlling of Process Parameters through DCS to achieve daily targets effectively.
• Trouble shooting process related and Equipment related problems.
• Managing the shift staff for smooth and trouble free operations.
• Closely monitoring the existing system and suggesting the Engineering change for the improvement of the plant performance.
• Achievement of optimal running conditions with minimum down time, in coordination with Maintenance and other Service departments.
• Continuous Monitoring and Study of Process.
• Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly and
Annual reports (Plan for operational and Maintenance activities).
• Ensuring the observance of safe operating practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Monitoring and ensuring the effective implementation of HSE and IMS.
• Initiation and effective implementation of Permit to Work (PTW) system to ensure the safety of personnel, asset and environment.
• Planning and execution of Annual shutdowns.
