Identifies type and severity of risks in order to enable the personnel to prepare for their approach towards the communities.
Identify the size of the communities and the size of the village; it could be well possible that the inclusion of the community members in the CBDRM is more than what the project covers.
Creates awareness with the elders and see if there is a need for the DRR approach
Organizes a small workshop to analyze the situation, after the need is severe enough (as identified by community), tries to cover all the forms that are required.

To conduct counseling/awareness sessions on Gender Based Violence (GBV, Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) and Family Planning
Mapping of the UC, Villages to identify and collect data of GBV cases. 
Interact with community for different activities
Conduct Focus Group Discussion(FDGs) at community level
Sharing concerns from the community influential if any with District Coordinator to timely resolve
Record keeping and maintaining activities on track with the work plan
Must possess strong reporting and communication skills.
Must be fluent in Urdu and local languages.
Facilitate external teams and donors during monitoring visits
Must possess strong knowledge of area and its economic environment / opportunities.
Knowledge of Gender Based violence (GBV)

Major Responsibilities
Carryout the profiling of villages, baseline data collection, community mapping, sites selection and beneficiaries identification.
Mobilizing the community and formation of VDMCs and other Community Organizations.
Monitor appropriate implementation of program activities in all targeted activities.
Actively contribute to community mobilization and sensitization.
Aware and mobilize communities and conduct meetings with community members including children, women, PWDs and elderly.
Aware and mobilize community committees on the roles and responsibilities.
Engage VDMCs local influential in development of Village/ UC Disaster Management Plan.
Facilitate VDMCs in Hazard Mapping exercises at the village level.
Support livelihoods and DRR Team, Civil Engineers in the identification and implementation of infrastructure interventions and risk reduction measures.
Support and facilitate communities during the meetings with local government authorities and during exposure visits to projects interventions.
Support in identification of sites for WASH and DRR interventions.
Contribute to the promotion of hygiene interventions in the targeted areas.
Perform any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Elaborate all needs based inputs and all other activities according to the objectives of the programme and the beneficiary involvement strategy of ACTED.
Mobilizes the community in the effective use of the community resources.
Mobilize communities for the prioritizing of recovery activities and strategies.
Facilitates the capacity building and setup of representative community committees (steering committees).
Ensure, through daily dialogues and consultations that the strategy of the projects and the commitments of the various stakeholders are adhered to.
Responsible for mainstreaming gender
Maximize beneficiary contribution.
Participate in Food/NFI distributions whenever required.
Supports in the development of IEC materials for all activities implemented.
The Community mobilizers should develop in-depth knowledge of all their villages of intervention and should have close contacts with community leaders, volunteers, and activists.
Providing technical guidance, training and support to individuals targeted by each project in line with the programme strategy and intended output[s];
Liaising with programme staff of other ACTED teams to ensure that information is shared and that lessons learned are developed.
Supervise the unloading of the material on site as well as quality and quantity of the items

Prepare activity implementation plan and discuss the required resources to undertake the activity

Form / re-organise Community Based organizations (CBOs) male/female
Conduct Village mapping/profiling through different PRA tools (i.e. is BBCMs, Mapping/profile, conflict resolution wealth ranking etc
Mobilize community and orient project and organization\'s mandate

Implement projects activities related to Hygiene promotion.
Promotion and education within targeted communities through contact with community representatives.
Detail assessment regarding knowledge and practices of the area of intervention and preparation of survey report before and after the hygiene sessions.
Design hygiene sessions with awareness about use of safe water for drinking and provide easy methods for making water safe for drinking.
Arrangements and deliverance of hygiene promotion sessions to targeted community. Conducting the targeted hygiene promotion sessions with complete record keeping and pictorial proofs.
To Ensuring the participation of target community in better health/cleanliness campaigns.
Active participation in the Campaigns e.g. global hand washing Day. Global Breast feeding week, Global toilet day etc.
Adapt and assist in developing information, education, and communication (IEC) materials for Hygiene related activities.
Coordinate and conduct training for hygiene related activities in line with the agreed curriculum.
Conduct trainings of the communities in hygiene promotion and the implementation of different techniques & activities in selected communities as per projects objectives.
