I have worked with FATA Development Program Government to Community, Implemented by IOM (International Organization for Migration) funded by USAID (OTI) as an Agency Development Officer. The Program provides support to government of Pakistan in FATA (Federally Administered Tribal Areas of Pakistan) to restore strengthen the writ of the Government of Pakistan by improving tribal community government relationship through infrastructure, livelihood, socio cultural capacity building projects for quick impact. As head of Agency, I was responsible for management of 2 field offices for Upper, Lower Central Kurram Agency along with supervision of more than 30 staffs for implementation of community stabilization program funded USAID (OTI). I ensure that grants management policies procedures are established followed according to USAID/OTI regulations. I also advise senior management on programmatic strategy, including where to focus the program resources, how to develop operational relationships with the local government counterparts, how to address programmatic challenges as they arise.
I have also worked for 5 years as Grant Operation Officer at head office Islamabad. Where I was responsible for Central Grant Management and implementation of grants and main focal person between all departments of head office Islamabad and 11 field offices along with proper closure of completed grants according to the USAID/OTI compliance through regular follow-ups with field teams in 5 agencies of FATA 6 FRs of Khyber Phuktoonkhawa. I have managed more than 200 active grants at head office Islamabad at one time with closure of other completed grants. Moreover, I was also responsible for preparing and further submission of grant amendments to donor for approval to record the changes in grant deliverable and quantities. I have provide assistance training to the Field Coordinators and field staff on grant management to document the grant cycle activities and maintain program-wide standards of grant policies integrity, data collection and management according to USAID compliance and Grant Activity Cycle Handbook

Responsibilities :
Manage the Agency field office; including ensuring that project management policies, procedures and practices are established and followed as per program standard
Establish and oversee consultative processes between the Government of Pakistan structures and target communities to identify, recommend, design, and develop projects/grants for funding
Design and develop individual projects including budgets and oversee project implementation management once the grant is awarded
Ensure the successful implementation of project activities, including planning and the transparent procurement & bidding of grant tenders along with on-going consultative processes, and government and community involvement in all phases.
Regular participation with Political Administration and other line departments of government of Agency
Work with communities, the Political Administration and other relevant government structures to mobilize local resources (community contributions and government resources) to implement project activities
