As the Head of Programs at the Shahid Afridi Foundation, I am responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of program initiatives in alignment with the organization's goals and objectives. I managed day-to-day project activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and the delivery of high-quality work. Additionally, I played a crucial role in coordinating with the board of directors and the head office team to develop and execute the funds utilization plan. My role involves establishing and maintaining relationships with government officials and other partners for effective project implementation. Responsible for baseline assessments, data collection, surveys, and location identification with the support of area coordinators and stakeholders. Regular project visits were conducted to oversee progress and ensure the success of monitoring and evaluation processes.

I have been instrumental in leading initiatives across all four thematic areas of the Organization: Water, Education, Health, and Emergency Relief.

My notable achievements includes:

Rehabilitation during Flood Relief:
Leading the conception and execution of comprehensive rescue, shelter, and rehabilitation programs for families affected by floods in Sindh and Balochistan. Our project has made a substantial impact, benefiting more than 100,000 beneficiaries in the region. Actively engaged in planning, executation and implementation of the campaigns which directly beneficial for the affected communities during the hard times. Oversaw the establishment of large-scale Tent Cities to provide shelter to the affected populace.
 
1.     Food Security: We have successfully ensured food security for over 100,000 individuals and families who were severely affected by the floods. This has helped alleviate hunger and provided sustenance during their time of need.
2.     Shelter and Rehabilitation: In addition to food security, our project prioritized the rescue, sheltering, and rehabilitation of flood-affected individuals and families. Through concerted efforts, we have been able to provide safe and comfortable housing solutions to over 1,000 households across different areas.
3.     House Construction: The construction of more than 1,000 houses was a significant milestone of this project. These new houses have not only provided families with a secure place to live but have also contributed to the long-term recovery and stability of the affected communities. Our projects followed a well-structured approach, consisting of surveys, identification of affected families, and meticulous implementation. This phased approach ensured that our assistance was targeted and effective, reaching those who needed it the most.

I have worked in flood relief has been instrumental in mitigating the suffering of vulnerable communities in Sindh and Balochistan. We remain committed to our mission of bringing relief and hope to those affected by natural disasters, and we look forward to continuing our efforts to create a positive impact on the lives of those we serve. These projects are delivered through the support from esteemed national and international donors including World Care Foundation, Bank Alfalah, Careem, and Baskin Robbins.
 
Water Projects:

Successfully orchestrated the implementation of more than 300 major water projects in remote regions nationwide, collaborating closely with local and international partners, particularly in Baluchistan.
Undertook extensive liaison and communication with local authorities to conduct surveys and identify project locations.
Skilfully negotiated with local vendors to secure competitive rates and maintain high-quality work standards.
 
Education Initiatives:

Collaborated with leading corporate entities to adopt and revitalize four schools in Karachi's remote areas.
Enrolled more than 2000 students in these schools, offering them quality education at no cost.
 
Healthcare Advancements:

Successfully introduced three Mobile Health Units, each offering vital healthcare services free of charge to impoverished patients.
Focused particularly on mothers and children from underserved communities lacking access to proper healthcare facilities.
 

Managed multi-channel fundraising program and jointly raised Rs. 900 million income in 3 years. Launched fundraising programs and campaigns for every thematic area.
Collaborated with internal and external partners to meet programs and revenue goals.

Coordinates all arrangements and ensures the smooth functioning of the activities related with fund generation. Developed and implemented the strategies for raise funds through various marketing campaigns.

Developed successfully retail fundraising campaigns with Careem Pakistan, Baskin Robbins, KFC, PEPSI for SAF’s education initiative. 

Developed and implement strategies and raise funds for organization. Generate funds through new campaign development and and media campaigns. Coordinate cross functional work teams and outside agencies to implement plans. Arranged different types of fundraising events. Developed various Fundraising campaigns Like School Campaign, Banner, and Hangers Campaign, Media campaigns, Eid Card Campaign, SMS marketing & email marketing. Answer telephone inquiries from donors & well-wishers regarding the new campaign features. Liaison with other staff in different offices Keeping track of the guests and visits to NGO.  Support Project Officers in preparing necessary project documents, correspondence and ensure its correctness. Makes monitoring trip as and when required to follow-up project progress. Takes notes at meetings and prepares & circulates minutes after approval. Established following programs, Senior Citizen Medicine Plan, Hepatitis Control Program, TB Control Program, and established CSSD Central Sterilization and Suction Department for Gyane O.T, Diabetic Foot Clinic and a HDU for Head and Neck Cancer Department.
