Ensure appropriate tax deduction at source on vendor payments.Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns.Responsible for timely submission of statutory returns of Group companies includingIncome TaxSales TaxSindh Sales TaxWithheld Income Tax and Sales TaxTimely response to notices received from relevant tax authorities.Assist senior management in company tax matters and tax planning.Advise management on the impact of new laws on tax liabilities.Coordinate with consultants and government authorities for tax exemption certificates relating to import of plant and machinery.Gather necessary documentation from Staff for exemption certificates.Coordinate with Accounts Department to collect necessary documents with regard to tax deduction of vendor payments.Ensure all compliance matters relating to SBP, SECP, and other government departments are met.
