• Providing inputs and ideas for market/sales growth to the sales head & staying ahead and reacting in accordance to the market changes
• Preparing monthly, weekly or daily reports using the company provide software. Presentation and directly reporting to Regional Sales Manager.
• Collecting, analyzing and evaluating the information in the market to increase the sales.
• Identifying new prospective markets for existing range by using excellent market relations, product knowledge, customer knowledge, etc.
• Managing the distributors and helping them manage their inventory by ensuring a regular supply of stocks.
• Meeting customers and communicating to them about the products. Convincing the contacts about the products and making them take up the products.
• Meeting with suppliers and managing the distribution of stock, by negotiating cost prices, ordering stock, agreeing timescales and delivery dates, and completing the necessary paperwork;
• Working closely with visual display staff and department heads to decide how goods should be displayed to maximize customer interest and sales.
• Involved in the training of new sales staff.
• Conducting surveys of the different territories and making their proposed journey plans to be visited by sales team on daily basis.
• Introducing new products in the markets successfully and following it up with product availability with the retailers, training if distributor salesman, merchandiser etc.
• Monitoring slow moving items and taking necessary actions such as price reductions/ promotions, etc.
• Analyzing previous season\'s sales and keeping track of current sales with reference to last year performance to understand areas of strengths/ weaknesses in target market.
