It was a research study for wash in depth assessment in refugee villages in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, under UNICEF Pakistan project executed through AWF Limited.
The main purpose was to provide key informant interviews (KII) , detailed focus group discussions and engagements of qualitative research information at district level for scaling up convergence and coverage of essential services.
The KII were collected from District administration and related government and Non-government organizations involved with Afghan refugees.

To identify LHW non-covered areas in Tehsil Mandan with close coordination of DHO Office
Conduct Health awareness sessions on MNCH,  early marriages, child rights and family planning in LHW non-covered areas
Revive PCMC in designated BHUs and RHC with close coordination with concerned health facilities
Ensure regular PCMC meetings on monthly basis and maintain records
Identify champions from religious scholars to disseminate MNCH and FP messages during Friday sermons
Conduct Health Education session on Family Planning during Friday sermons.
Work in community to strengthen referral mechanism to support PCMC
Assist Project Manager to ensure weekly, monthly and quarterly activity reports
