I joined FINCA Micro Finance Bank in Feb-2019 as a team member Internal Audit and subsequently promoted as secretary AFC (Anti-fraud Committee) in March-2022. I was reporting directly to the Senior Manager Internal Audit. Additionally, I was responsible to prepare Agenda for AFC meeting, minutes of meeting for AFC and reporting of frauds to SBP on quarterly basis. My tasks as Officer centralized Account Opening were as followsTo review account opening documents as per the defined TAT and complete the tasks within specified time.Thorough scrutiny of AOF (Account Opening Form) and other supporting documents and all relevant sections given on AOF to be reviewed properly.To ensure all applicable AML/CFT/CDD requirements have been completed by the branch.  To reject the task in case of any discrepancy and update comments on MYSIS.  To approve the task after thorough scrutiny.  To coordinate with branches in case of any discrepancy for rectification.  To maintain MIS with discrepancies.  Coordinate with branches through phone calls and emails to resolve their queries.  To review FA/FI & Govt. account documents, in case of discrepancies, coordinate with branches for rectification.Managing account opening team in an efficient manner and assigning work targets.  Discuss procedure and issues with higher management for enhancement & improvement of Centralized Account Opening, identity gaps and suggest improvements.Checking of Account Opening Documents as per regulatory requirements and bank operations Manual.Ensure that the procedures at Centralized Account Opening is appropriately carried out as per the Banks policy & regulatory requirements while making sure the completion of all tasks within turnaround time.Maintain close coordination with the branches to ensure timely performance of all processes Liaison with visiting team of SBP inspectors, external / internal auditors, compliance officers regions etc. Follow-up of deficiencies/ observations identified and ensuring their remediation.  Any other work assigned by the departmental Head.
