概要
As laboratory technologist role is to take the history of the suspects of Acute Hepatitis, and conduct the ELISA tests for Hepatitis A to E, as per CDC protocols. All the data regarding surveillance of cases, risk factors, correlations entered in to the Access and Excel software and for further analysis sent to main office for any possible publication and manually entered in the patient register. Monthly activity report generated. My role also included maintained the QC of Equipment used in the lab. An inventory listing of consumable and non-consumable items are separately maintained and ensure the lab is well stocked. Surveillance forms, Temperature log sheet of refrigerator and procedure work sheet are filed up and also conduct the interviews of suspected patients of influenza viruses, take samples and sent to the National institute of Health Islamabad. Implement Lab surveillance quality assurance measures and External control checked, Samples have been sent to the main lab for quality control. Case reporting forms filled completely, biosafety measures practiced and monthly quality control report has been shared.

Take the history and collect the samples of the suspects of Acute Hepatitis as per CDC protocols coming to the medical OPD of Civil Hospital Karachi and conduct the ELISA tests of HAV IgM, HBs Ag., Anti HCV, HEV IgM, HEV IgG, HB Core IgM and HDV, for the screening of suspected of acute viral hepatitis according to the CDC guidelines.
