Working as an Electrical Engineer
Responsibilities includes;
Scheduling and Managing the work
Sound knowledge of distribution like HT, LT, RPR and Customers account
Ability to handle safety issues PPE’S, SPE’S and Emergency reporting
Sound knowledge of new connections (1-phase and 3-phase Energy meter installation) and replacing old Energy meters
Sound knowledge of ABC Cables, ABC cable pulling for replacing Overhead system,
Installation of HT/LT poles and PMTs
Known about preventive maintenance of K-E Feeders(11kv), PMTs, MCCBs, D/O Cutout and LT circuits and Monitoring of L.T/H.T shut downs and Ensure safe area for working
Sound knowledge of Earthing (By COPPER PLATE & Galvanised rod) and calculation of Earthing ohmic value
Known about Transformer sizing calculation & HT U/G Cable joints for 11kv Feeders
Troubleshooting of Faults at LT Side
Project feasibility studies and preparation of reports
Project cost estimation, scheduling, control and monitoring.
Dealing with Contractors & Suppliers and assistance to solve their problems related to design. Having experience of load management
Training of newly hired staff for different projects
