概要

Currently, I am serving as a Community Resilience Officer (CRO) at the United Nations International Organization for Migration (UNIOM) in North Waziristan/Bannu Pakistan. In this role, I have been actively involved in filling resilience gaps and fostering community cohesion for broader cultural, ethnic, and social acceptance. My tenure with the United Nations Food Agriculture Organization (UNFAO) in North Waziristan further honed my skills in creating resilient communities.

I have a proven track record of successfully implementing three consecutive USAID-funded civic engagement projects focused on Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), Health, Nutrition, and Shelter for the Temporarily Displaced Persons of North Waziristan, Pakistan. Through collaborative efforts with key stakeholders, government line departments, and Civil Society Organizations, I have not only addressed immediate needs but also enhanced the life skills of the beneficiaries.

My experience extends to a decade-long commitment with Nutrition International, where I served as both National Program Manager and Provincial Program Manager. I conducted field research and studies to identify and document iodine-deficient populations, providing technical guidance to the Health Department. I played a pivotal role in designing and implementing strategies, campaigns, advocacy, guidelines, and policies to combat malnutrition effectively.

As a Project Manager with the Women Empowerment Organization, I demonstrated technical leadership by conducting ethnographic studies in key Afghan settlements. Working on a UNHCR education project for Afghan children in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, I contributed to the empowerment and education of marginalized communities.

My diverse experiences include serving as District Program Manager Volunteerism for Community Development (VCD) with the National Commission for Human Development (NCHD). In this role, I conducted comprehensive situation analyses to build social profiles of key target populations, ensuring public involvement through volunteerism for community development in alignment with Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

During my tenure as a Senior Social Organizer with the Sarhad Rural Support Program (SRSP), I implemented the Rural Water Supply & Sanitation Program. This involved enhancing the technical capacity of district-level Local Government departments and encouraging local communities to contribute to sustainable service delivery.

I am confident that my skills in project management, community development, and stakeholder engagement make me a valuable candidate for the Project Officer position. I am eager to bring my passion for community development and extensive expertise to UNDP. Thank you for considering my application.
