I have an experience in Audit and Assurance section in Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, one of the Big Four international professional services firms, which has enabled me to develop a comprehensive understanding of the competitive business and regulatory environments of diversified industries and the accounting and internal control systems implemented at various organizations.
Presently, I am working as Head of Finance in Bashir Shakil Goods Transport, a logistic company. My association with the Company has helped me to develop professional skills and competences.
1. Manage accounts receivable including bills being made with their sales tax invoices and payments with the income and provincial sales tax deductions
2. Ensure proper deduction of withholding income and provincial taxes from the payment being made
3.Calculate province wise revenue and claimable input tax in order to determine the relevant amount for residual input tax adjustments in all four provincial tax authorities
4.Manage cash flows used in day to day operations after determining the loading status
5.Liaison with banks for their requirements in respect of already availed running finance and lease facilities
6.Liaison with tax consultant for income and provincial sales tax matters / notices
7.Ensure timely payment of vehicle advance tax
8.Prepare financial statements on quarterly basis and management accounts on monthly basis.
9.Prepare cash flow forecast for banks
10.Perform payroll function
