Key Project: 500 kV Ghakkar Substation Expansion Project
Client: EVH-1 National Transmission & Despatch Company (NTDC), WAPDA Pakistan | Cost: 200M | Project Tenure: I Year | Scope of Work: Electrical Tasks
Work in substation, power, and mechanical divisions to oversee installation, testing, and erection of various electrical equipment, such as SF6 circuit breakers, CCVT, CT, post insulators, surge arresters, transformers, and wave traps. Direct high-performing erection, testing & commissioning team along with 13 members, such as Engineers & Technicians.
Key Deliverables:
Achieved bottom line results by analyzing electrical equipment, discussing and resolving project issues in meetings and delivering project progress reports to Project Director NTDC, WAPDA.
Reduced cost from 200M to 180M and saved cost by 20M while completing the project in eight months.
Resolved all pending issues as per punch list submitted by the Client in DLP (Defect Liability Period).

Key Project: UP-Gradation & Refurbishment of MANGLA Hydro Power Station
Client: WAPDA Pakistan | Scope of Work: Refurbishment work for Generating Units No. 5 & 6 Mangla Hydro Power Project
Actively contributed in construction supervision of dismantling, refurbishment, and erection activities of refurbishment tasks of Mangla Hydro Power Plant and prepared everyday progress report in a timely manner. Successfully approved and witnessed tests and inspection sheets for parts of generator to analyze condition of parts from approved drawings and specifications. Liable for overseeing erection and testing along with 28 staff members, including Engineers and Technicians.
Key Deliverables:
Led a high-performing teams to ensure erection of stator core assembly while overseeing core loop test for generating units No. 5 & 6.
Attained desired results by overseeing inspections and verifications of incoming shipment material received at site in accordance with project package list.
Ensured smooth operations and seamless activities while troubleshooting Mangla Power House 200 Ton over head bridge cranes and PLC control system issues in coordination with clients and contractors.

Key Project: New Lahore 500KV Double Circuit Transmission Line
Client: EVH-1 National Transmission & Despatch Company (NTDC), WAPDA Pakistan
Held the credit for performing erection and commissioning tasks of DD1, DS1 and DA1 tower. Liaised with supervisors, clients, stakeholders, and design professionals to discuss and resolve issues, such as work procedures and site problems.
Key Deliverables:
Examined tower, stringing activities, calculation and verification of SAG while following company standards.
Generated and delivered progress report while verifying installed equipment as per approved drawings.

Positioned as a Member of PHA & HAZOP committee and revised electrical & instrumentation designs and specifications sheets of the plant. Created feasibilities and standard technical specifications for plant modification jobs, electrical/control systems, and bidding documents. Led overall system commissioning, testing, start-up and initial operation of the plant unit. Designed inter-connection diagrams and administered testing & commissioning of plant equipment by interacting with contractors. Liaised with contactors or service providers to ensure execution of jobs during plant operation and monthly shift roasters. Built synergies with LESCO and RCC-Islamabad to assure uninterrupted power supply. Produced, communicated, and delivered load and outage reports and electricity bills verification sheets to the production and engineering manager via interaction with LESCO officers. Worked with QHSE and Engineering Manager to develop and modify plant equipment purchase and engineering procedures.
Key Deliverables:
Devised execution job plans to ensure regular maintenance and projects as well as maintained nominal stocks of consumable materials at site and monitors usage to meet plant requirements.
Created feasibility and electrical design for self-generation and completed project from procurement to commissioning of 3 nos. 1.275MVA Rental Generators in association with Orient Energy System (OES) with accessories for backup supply during WAPDA supply failure.
Functioned in close collaboration with Rental Power Provider (RPP) and Production shift engineer to examine power outage and save conversion to backup power.
Examined and spearheaded everyday activities of high-performing teams of maintenance personnel and retained calibration and history records of each instrument and special records for ISO.
Minimized expenditures thorough conducting market surveys and negotiations and replacing all standard efficiency motors (by premium efficiency motors) for energy conservation.
Reduced production loss by installing DMC (Digital Master Control) for synchronizing GENSETS with WAPDA supply, during planned shutdown to shift load from WAPDA to GENSETS and interrupting in power supply to plant.
