Job Description
 Co-ordinate with District Program Manager and Education staff and DoE for effective implementation of the education project activities, ensuring clear guidance and standards for all program staff are in compliance with all agreements and the project proposal
 In collaboration with the project team and coordination, determine the strategic direction of the Project in the short, medium and long-term and map out activities.
 Collaborate effectively with other project managers and the coordination team. Ensure that they are wholly involved in Project planning and direction.
 Collaborate with the Monitoring department to assess need, monitor activities, and evaluate Project progress. Ensure that lessons learned in the course of implementation are integrated into the Project to ensure that it remains responsive and relevant.
 Be alert to opportunities arising for learning, collaboration and partnership that may enhance Project quality and responsiveness.

 Developing and planning project’s methodology according to principles of relevance and compliance;

 To manage Community Mobilizers, and work in close collaboration with the community and teachers for the roll-out of agreed project activities
 Develop work plan, budget plan (Monthly Financial Projection) and effective monitoring of all activities.
 Ensure that the education program is implemented effectively in a good quality standards and ensuring consistency of the work in accordance to the programme goal and objectives.
 Submit operational plans on weekly and monthly basis, reviewing activities periodically, to ensure that project expenditures are used within limits and guidelines approved by the Programme Manger.

 Monitoring (randomly checking of the poverty scorecard of every enumerator and supervising them to ensure the quality of poverty scorecard) of all the field activities regarding BISP besides facilitating the enumerators in their work and troubleshooting.
 To mobilize and motivate the community influential’s, religious scholars, social workers and local representatives regarding Beazer Income Support Program.

 Worked as Constituency Coordinator in the pilot phase (Aug—Nov, 2008) of ‘Constituency Relations Project, [CRP] implemented by Free and Fair Election Network [FAFEN], Pakistan in partnership with Community Development Programmed [CDP] NWFP Pakistan

Job Description:
Overall responsible for coordinating project activities [related to accountability and roles, responsibilities of the elected representatives via a via constituents] in district Karak.

Specific responsibilities included but were not limited to;
 Formation of Constituency Relation Group (CRG) comprising of different stakeholders from throughout the Constituency. Training and facilitating meetings of CRG according to the approved work plan besides also facilitating Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) between different stakeholders in the constituency.
 Organizing and conducting press briefings, arranging seminars and district level public awareness forums to highlight the activities. Coordination with all district level department heads for celebrating Legislation Accountably Action Week (LAAW) which included different activities.
 Preparation of Constituency’s Vision & Charter of demand for district Karak in the light of consensus build during Focus Groups Discussions (FGDs) and meetings.

 Worked as Markaz Coordinator with National Commission for Human Development [NCHD] in its UPE and SHP programme

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities included but were not limited to;
 Coordinating and arrangement of teachers’ level training regarding School Health Program (SHP) at Union council and tehsil level besides facilitating teachers regarding screening test of the primary schools children and to hold community meetings, identification of volunteers, BLS, preparation of UPE register, enrollment and reporting during regular field visits.
 Organizing arrangement for free medical camps at Union council, tehsil and district levels. Also Prepare village education plans in consultation with the community.
 Facilitate Ado’s to conduct UC level teachers training for BLS and enrollment, to prepare work plans to monitor BLS and enrollment activities and joint visits along with ADO’s to monitor activities of teachers. Identify training need for teachers and build the capacity of teachers for effective teaching, through demonstration. Facilitate teachers training at appropriate level, in consultation with the District Education Department.
 Facilitate parent teachers meeting in the school on quarterly basis and meetings of the school Management Committee on quarterly or need/issue basis.
 Coordinate, organize and conduct Broad Based Community Meetings (BBCMs) on education issues to identify volunteers and train the volunteers in enrollment, dropout follow up, and student assessment on learning achievement of the students and motivate them to support weak students.

 Worked as Social Organizer in NCHD’s UPE
Responsibilities:
 Verification and analysis of the data of 0-39 years of age group of assigned union councils collected by the education department for increasing the enrollment ratio and decreasing the drop out ratio.
 Ensured 100% enrollment of 5-7 years of age group in the assigned area.
 Established feeder schools, Non formal basic education centers (NFBEC) and adult literacy centers (ALC) for enrollment of 5-7, 8-14, and 15-39 of age group respectively.
 Identified village and union council level volunteers through corner and broad based community members, village influential, religious influential, teachers and elected representatives of the target area for the achievement of targeted goals i.e. 100% enrollment and 0% drop out.
 Arranged union council level cricket tournaments in the three assigned union council for the identification of village level young volunteers.
 Activated the existing Parent teachers associations (PTAs)
 Reported progress to the concerned field manager besides attending weekly and monthly orientation workshop with NCHD team on regular basis and making presentation regarding the progress.
