I have over 15 years of banking experience in Banking Operations, Credit Risk Management, Investigations & International Audits. My areas of specialization include compliance / regulatory affairs, credit, operational risk management, investigations, and International audits.
Additionally, I have worked amidst three acquisition deals followed by successful integration (ABN AMRO’s acquisition of Prime Bank Pakistan, Faysal Bank’s acquisition of RBS Pakistan and Bank Islami’s acquisition of KASB).
My objective is to play an integral role in the management of a top tier financial institution, contributing in the areas of banking operations, risk management, compliance, internal controls, and governance.

Senior Audit Manager
Due to my consistent performance, I was selected as a part of International Audit Team. Key responsibilities in this unit include:
· Managing and supervising all facets of audit engagements (planning, execution, finalization), evaluating the overall risks from the internal audit’s perspective, developing audit reports, coordination with the Head of International Audit to define the extent of planned procedures and to update on progress of the engagement;
· Evaluating the system of internal control and risk management procedures and identifying weaknesses therein and communicating those weaknesses along with recommendations to top management and Board of Directors;
· Carried out the root cause analysis on all the locations where the Bank operates, and identified the actual reason for control weakness. Prepared inventory of risks & controls and designed testing strategies against each risk;
· Quarterly reporting to Board Audit Committee & Control Committee
· Maintain and update consolidate trackers of all International locations for senior management oversight
