1# Assist the Director of Finance with monthly general ledger reconciliations as required
2# Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for approval of the Director of Finance.
3# Assist with annual budget preparation as required.
4# Process all client or miscellaneous payments daily or as required to sub-ledger.
5# Maintain and distribute accurate listing of overdue accounts and suspensions in       accordance with agency policies.
6# Prepare accounting adjustment forms where required.
7# Respond to client or payer account inquiries as required.
8# Maintain a working knowledge of the payroll processes and software and                 provide backup as required.
9# Prepares cheques and associated reports, as required in accordance with                 agency schedules.
10# Prepare and maintain pre-authorize payments monthly or as required.
11# Prepare all Accounts Payable sub-ledger journals for posting to General Ledger         monthly.
12# Reconcile Accounts Payable sub-ledger to General Ledger monthly.
13# Enter and reconcile cheques cashed to accounting software monthly.
14# Respond to vendor inquiries as required.
