Major job responsibilities are as follows:• Energy and Environment policy-making for public and private sector organizations/companies.• Energy conservation and alternate energy production program development and execution.• Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) studies.• Technical and Financial Proposal preparation, bidding exercise and request for proposal (RFP) studies. Major clients include theUnited Nations Development Program (UNDP), Ministry of Climate Change (MoCC), MOL, PPL and several otherorganizations/industries.• Stakeholder’s consultations and meetings.• Field surveys including social-economic studies, demographic studies, focus group discussions (FGDs), ambient air monitoring, anduse of equipment like GPS, sound monitor, airflow monitor, and pitch and strike measurement.• Liaison with government and private offices/departments including EPA/EPDs, Forest, Agriculture, Irrigation, WWF, ICUN, andMoCC etc. in federal territories and all provinces of Pakistan.• Extensive draft report writing for EIA, IEE, ESIA and technical and financial proposals

Conducted a comprehensive study on SCCP, which covered the following as a minimum:• Highlighted the SCCP issue and global efforts to regulate SCCP.• Identified SCCP usage in the local industry, quantity used, and final products.• Studied lifecycle of SCCP in Pakistan and possible exposure to the public, children, and wildlife.• Identified potential health impacts of SCCP and also conducted Interviews with relevant government officials, doctors, toxicologists,and civil society organizations on the issue.• Formulated recommendations to regulate/ban the use of SCCP.• Carried out extensive industrial tours all across Pakistan including Karachi, Hyderabad, Multan, Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar.
