I worked as Assessment Coordinator-GB with World Learning- Pakistan Reading Project, USAID Grantee Program. I am a graduate in Education from Aga Khan University - Institute for Educational Development (AKU-IED), Karachi and M. Sc in Economics from National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Islamabad. Prior to joining WL- PRP, I was engaged in Research projects at AKU-IED with special focus on Assessment. I also served in different capacities like Head-Assessment Policy and Practice, Vice Principal, Lecturer and teacher at different educational institutions. I am patient to work in team to achieve the project goals and also able to manage field visits to monitor the progress and provide the technical and operational support to the field team, report the progress to the provincial and national project leads for solution of the issues. Also, coordinate with the stakeholders and govt. officials for community engagement activities and to disseminate the findings.

Assessment Coordinator
• Working as Assessment Coordinator for Gilgit – Baltistan (GB) and ‘Focal Person’ (Honorary) for “Anti-Harassment” at PRP, GB
• Lead assessment activities carried out at PRP, GB and also assist in conducting sessions and managing conflicts among staff about gender related issues at regional level.
• Prepare monthly, and quarterly plans for the execution of assessment related activities for tracking students’ performance/ monitoring.
• Conduct sessions for districts teams including district program officers (DPOs) and school support associates (SSAs) for tracking students’ performance on monthly and quarterly basis.
• Provide assistance to SSAs in installation of assessment tools on tablets and conducting students’ assessment on tablets by using Tangerine software for data collection.
Manage field visits in different districts of GB for monitoring district teams to maintain the quality of data during students’ assessment in PRP intervention schools.
• Ensure data quality and cleaning aspects by closely working with national assessment team, analyze the data and prepare the provincial, district and SSA level reports on monthly and quarterly basis for tracking students performance.
• Worked in team for conducting orientation sessions/ workshops and to perform project related tasks.
• Extend support to reading quality coordinators in developing tools for reading assessment of early grade students at regional level.
• Support Project Leads in the preparation of presentations and reports for sharing the progress of projects with stakeholders (govt. officials).
• Coordinate with assessment task force GB named as GBEAC for pursuing assessment related tasks to ensure the integration of reading assessment at early grades in annual examination and for its sustainability in future.
• Assist reading quality coordinators in preparing success stories about project related activities.

• Working as a research associate for “Role of Assessment in Raising Students’ Learning Experiences and Outcomes in Higher Education Institutes Pakistan: Teachers and students perspectives” project and “Perspectives of the School Head and other Stakeholders on competencies required by the head for effective management of the adopted school” under the supervision of Dr. Kulsoom Jaffer and Dr. Razia Fakirmohammad.
• Working as a SPSS data operator for a project of The Citizen Foundation (Monitoring and evaluation), under the supervision of Dr. Kulsoom.
• Voluntarily serving as a course mentor in Learning System (LS) in English Language Teaching (ELT) course of M. Ed program of cohort 2016, with course facilitators: Dr. (IP) Fatima Ahsan, assistant professors and Dr. Sherwin Rodrigues.
