1. Assist Master trainer in developing training modules for farmers trainings
2. Participation in data collection for Farmers TNA (training need assessment) in project intervention area
3. Ensure farmers are followed up regularly and re-training programs in sustainable agriculture is implemented.
4. Empower farmers through training to be able to maintain high quality and very productive farms.
5. Ensuring that the farmers are able to make use of the training that has been provided to them through follow up sessions and corner meetings
6. Ensure farmers have good knowledge in vegetable & crop production.
7. Participate in training farmers in sustainable organic farming, including use of fuel efficient stoves.
8. Coordinate Peer Farmer Development individually and as a Group.
9. Training families in good farm management practices.
1. Conduct regular visits to project sites to carry out process monitoring as well as gather feedback from the beneficiary community about the implemented projects and submit a detail report about the activities.
2. Keeping proper documentation of all assigned community development activities/events etc.
3. Improve/develop the capacity of local project farmers’ committees to identify sustainable agro-based economic opportunities and understand and implement a demand-driven, commercialization approach to rural development based on access to markets
4. Identify and assist in coordinating relevant workshops/trainings in agricultural marketing issues for project beneficiaries.
5. Provide technical capacity to famers in in project intervention area to improve their understanding of Agri business concepts i-e factors of agricultural production; costs of production; quality control/market linkages & profit margin.
6. Ensure that baseline data on existing farming systems and water management techniques and income generating activities is updated for use in assessing the impact of the project interventions.
7. Ensure that the agricultural potential in the region is assessed with an aim of improving on the existing farming systems and water management practices for increased crop production and farm productivity.
8. Monthly, quarterly and annual program reports prepared as required and submitted to the Program Manager.
9. Formulate detailed work plans to implement activities which address identified Sustainable agriculture development needs of project participants, families and communities
