Preparation of Financial Statements as per applicable financial reporting framework;
Periodic finalization and closing of trial balance ensuring all transactions have been completely and accurately recorded;
Examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements to maintain robust financial systems, processes and controls;
Preparation of monthly budget to take measures for cost reduction and financial analysis in coordination with various business unit heads;
Monitoring expenses by comparing budgeted expenses with actual payments at the close of month and accordingly provide remarks on budgeted variances;
Handling Payables, ensuring completeness, reconcialations, aging, and payments to suppliers by monitoring day to day transactions,including verifying, classifying, computing and posting in to Ledgers;
Ensure all payments to suppliers, staff and other external parties are made after verifying payables and other related documents according to company policies and procedures;
Ensuring cleansing and proper recording of monthly payroll in MIS;Â
Supervising and Maintenance of proper books of accounts as per section 220 of companies act 2017 and accounting record as per chapter VII of income tax rules 2002;
Ensuring all obligations of being withholding agent are fulfilled and ensuring accuracy of calculations;
Management of all income tax matters pertaining to: Online filing on IRIS/eFBR/PRA returns of corporate and company directors etc.,Notices/assessments, tax planning/Refunds;
Drafted responses for correspondence received from tax authorities and build cordial relationship with tax authorities and consultants and liaise with them for all important tax issues;
Compilation of notices of FBR under section 161(1A)/205,120(3),137(2),176 177,236K and 236C of income tax ordinance 2001 and rule 44 of income tax rules 2002;
Preparation of annual income tax returns of companies under section 114(6) and 115(4) of income tax ordinance 2001;
Be proactively involved in tax planning, giving suggestions for optimal tax structure/position, keeping in view the interpretation in law and industry norms to legally minimize tax liabilities through informed application of laws and regulations;
