WSIP Phase – 1 Rehabilitation of Fulleli Canal

Head of the construction supervision team of consultants to execute the works as per approved design, drawings, technical specifications and contract BOQ. The scope of work includes the construction of hydraulic structures like three cross regulators of Fulleli canal, one of the biggest canals in Sindh province. It also includes seven head regulators of off taking channels, two pre-stressed bridges, metalled road, rehabilitation of six damaged head regulators along Fulleli Canal, rehabilitation of three damaged cross regulators and eight off-taking head regulators along Guni Wah Canal, stone pitching of vulnerable sections and canal earthworks and construction of nine buildings.

Responsibilities also include preparation of L-sections, X-sections, as built drawings, approval of Structural drawings, estimates. Check and verify the Interim payment certificates as per actual work done at site.

To prepare and submit to the Employer monthly, fortnightly physical and financial and weekly progress reports monitor the progress of works in accordance with approved work programme, pointing out the deficiencies and suggest remedial measures.

Ensure quality control through laboratory tests performed in field, in Engineer’s laboratory and by third party.

To conduct the walkthrough surveys and condition survey along with detail engineering survey to assess quantities for preparation of cost estimates / variation orders.
