Adnan Sajid is currently working as Project Coordinator (BMGF) with Association for Community Development on TB-Digitalization Project. The main task is to roll out of TB track into the DHIS-2. Adnan Sajid also worked as Deputy Chief Planning Monitoring (BS-19), Sustainable Land Management Project-II, Ministry of Climate Change, Islamabad. He remained a focal person of Technical Advisory Group on Advocacy and Campaigning on key health issues and also remained member of Advisory Group for immunization Campaigns in KP, constituted by Health Department KP.

Deputy Chief will assist Chief National Desertification Control Cell (NDCC) in keeping close coordination with the National and Provincial SLM Programme Specialists for proper implementation of Sustainable Land Management Programme. One of the main responsibilities of Deputy Chief will be the documentation and dissemination of lesson learnt and best practices of SLM in Pakistan and abroad to the federal line agencies;
Keep track of the programme activities as per NCU/NDCC-SLMP instructions;  
Implement Monitoring and Evaluation strategy/system based on Logical Framework Analysis of the project, covering baseline, outcomes, outputs, activities, benchmarks and targets, including key indicators;

Achievements:
I. Successfully managed the STAR (Systematic Tracking of Accountability & Results) online Program of UNDP for monitoring & Planning Purpose of Program activities.

III.    Developed Progress monitoring trackers for all the 04 Provinces to develop fortnightly, monthly, quarterly and annually progress report

Organize high profile health advocacy events at provincial level involving provincial chief ministers/health ministers and all other stakeholders.

Achievements
Policy Level:
1. ECNEC has approved integrated PC-1 for KP integrated health programs i.e. LHWs Program, Immunization Program, Nutrition Program and MNCH Program.
2. Khyber Pakthtunkhwa Govt. has made budgetary allocations for nutrition intervention i.e. Pak Rs 1,129.30 million for the 1st time in history of KP.
3. Multi Sectoral Nutrition Strategy along with establishement of Nutrition Coordination Cell at P & D dept KP has been approved by Govt. of Khyber Pakthtunkhwa.
4. Regularization of Lady Health Workers Program KP through an Act followed by a bill than law from Provincial legislative assembly KP.
6. EveryOne Campaign KP team have been honored by Health Directorate KP by giving membership in both core and general group of Provincial Communication Technical Committee on Immunization” notified by Director General Health Services KP.
7. Strong coordination with all relevant stake holders in KP i.e. health directorate, health secretariat (Health Sector Research & Reforms Unit), members of Provincial legislative assembly, key journalists and religious scholars. 
8.  Technical Advisory Group has been notified initially in Year 2012 under the chairman ship of Director General Health Services KP and conducted 04 successful meetings of it. TAG contributed a lot in regularization of Lady Health Workers Program, Approval of integrated PC-1 KP, enactment of Protection of Breastfeeding and Child Nutrition Bill 2015 (expected voting on it on coming 9th of Jan 2015 in KP Provincial assembly).
9. Under the Gates grant for the 1st time Save the Children Pakistan receive an honor of facilitating mid term epi review and final epi review both technically and financially. 
10. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has allocated PKR 25.24 billion which is roughly a 10 percent increase from the previous year and focuses on polio eradication, and setting up of new hospitals & medical care centers.
11. Health Ministers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa made commitment to increase the number of vaccinators to 2 vaccinators per union council. 
Operational Level
1. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Govt. has made budgetary allocations for hiring of more LHWs, LHS’s, CMW’s and vaccinators i.e. 3600, 111, 272 and 500 respectively under the approved integrated PC-1.
2. It is recommended in the integrated PC-1 to create a position of Nutrition Officer at the level of district HQ hospital in Bps 17, especially districts identified as high risk by the NNS. 
3. Under the approved Multi Sectoral Nutrition Strategy at field level the below will be the outcomes:
i. Improved governance and accountability.
ii. Human Resource Development.
Iii. Improved regulations and quality assurance.
Iv. Enhanced coverage and improved access to health care services.
v. Developing and implementing nutrition strategies.
vii. Improved preventive measures.
viii. Disaster risk reduction and management.
Ix. Health insurance and voucher schemes under social protection sector.
x. The strategies also stressed upon the need for multisectoral coordination and collaboration under the umbrella of P & D Dept KP to coordinate and provide essential support to social sectors.
4. KP Govt. has drastically make an increase in salary of Lady Health Workers field staff by allocating them basic pay scales to LHW’s, LHS’s, account supervisors and drivers i.e. That includes these support staff in Basic Pay Scale (BPS)-4, lady health workers in BPS-5, Lady Health Supervisor (LHS) in BPS-7,  account supervisor in BPS-7.
5. The committee is responsible for developing communication strategies for National Immunization Days, and missed children, parents who refused immunization for children, as well as mobile, migrant and high risk population. Moreover, the committee is also responsible to prepare and approve chapters for curriculum on immunization to be incorporated in different levels in schools, colleges and universities.
6. Coverage in leading newspapers of time to time events of Save the Children Everyone Campaign, generated debate in media about the most ignored area of under 05 mortality in community i.e. malnutrition.  Health minister and other parliamentarians supported the advocacy and campaigning work of Save the Children around 03 thematic areas i.e. LHWs Program, Nutrition Program, MNCH Program (i.e. CMWs ), EPI Program. 
Lady Health Workers Program:
Regularization of Lady Health Workers Program KP.
Lady Health Workers Program regularized, they have been allotted Basic pay scales instead of fixed stipends and commitment from Govt. for hiring more field staff of LHWs Program.
Inclusion of routine immunization in TOR’s of Lady Health Workers / Lady Health Supervisors.
Hiring of more CMWs.
Expanded Program of Immunization 
Hiring of more vaccinators i.e. at least 02 vaccinators per Union Council.
Budgetary allocation for strengthening the cold chains.
Introduction of Vaccinators in LHW uncovered area ensuring 100% routine immunization.
In order to ensure 100% coverage of routine immunization for children 0-23 months, 500 vaccinators will be recruited at the ratio of 1:5000 populations, to provide outreach services in the LHW uncovered area.
Nutrition Program:
Hiring of 01 Nutrition Officer at DHQH level.
Establishment of Stabilization Centers along with concerned supplies.
Under the approved multisectoral nutrition strategy:
Improved governance and accountability.

There was so much discrepancy in data from field and at Provincial level in this review with relevant officials the errors were discussed by Provincial EPI Officials and District EPI Officials.
