Using coded data to produce and submit claims to insurance companies • Team Bonding • Working directly with the insurance company, healthcare provider, and patient to get a claim processed and paid • Reviewing and appealing unpaid and denied claims • Verifying patients’ insurance coverage • Answering patients’ billing questions • Handling collections on unpaid accounts • Managing the facility’s Accounts Receivable reports • Perform any other tasks assigned by management. Work independently from assigned work lists and also prepare any necessary documentation. • Escalation of payer issues to supervisor. • Creating appeals ensuring that all appeals processes are followed to obtain full reimbursement. • Work with adjusters, insurance companies and attorneys to resolve claims to maximize reimbursement. • Reporting on Daily, Weekly and Monthly basis Include (AR aging Reports, Denials Reports, Resubmissions, Collection, Contractual Write-Off Report)
