Working as Director Projects, complete Supervision of several projects /Project
Managers with following Involvement & responsibilities.
 Heads and coaches a team of project managers and leads a portfolio of projects to monitor & ensure the responsibilities and accountabilities.
 Reaching and improving project objectives: sales and sales forecast, on timely delivery, gross margin, cash collection, customer satisfaction,
 Contributing in preparing project charters.
 Follow on the communication plans (internal and with client) and process for each project.
 Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
 Set the project execution plan based on scope, requirements, activities definition, and activities sequence of execution, resources and durations. As output develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
 Monitor and control direct project works. Direct and manage project development phases from beginning to end
 Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle.
 Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
 Effectively communicate project progress to senior management, team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear approach

 Secures Contract Reviews before signature to identify/reduce risk from an operational point of view, makes suggestions for negotiations, provisions for risks, scenario for realization.
 Establishes the program requirements for all areas of the project, and monitors the final deliverables for adherence to these criteria
 Represents the interests of the client during construction execution.
 Negotiates changes to the scope of work
 Works closely with the Technical manager to ensure OTD of the projects.
 Responsible for staff performance and development including regular performance feedback and evaluations, and creating and monitoring internal coaching/training plans. Hires or replaces staff to meet business commitments
 Responsible to insure the proper progress reporting to client and higher management by arranging monthly project reviews, Daily, weekly & monthly progress reports in coordination with all the Project Managers & arranging regular weekly progress review meetings with all the supporting departments, suppliers & subcontractors in order to maintain the project target dates with quality as per schedule.
 Discusses the qualifications

 Working as Senior Engineer /Project Manager for all matters related to newly constructed 380 kV & 132/13.8 kV sub stations, Transmission lines, Power Plants & reinforcement/up gradation of existing substations & power Plants with in scope, budget & time as per Contract.
 Responsible to insure the in time submission & approval of Designs/Drawings, Procurement of the equipment & material, FAT inspection & shipment of equipment’s to site, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of all equipment and systems with quality control in coordination with all the contractors & respective SEC Divisions.
 Responsible to insure the safety & quality standards during complete life cycle of the project by daily, weekly & monthly safety & quality reports & periodic audits by SEC teams.
 Responsible to arrange and conducting regular weekly & monthly project progress meetings with contractors, to insure & monitor the project progress as per schedule in order to achieve the targeted dates.
 Arranging third party Inspection of equipment’s & material in coordination with contractor as per specification, approved drawings and standards.
 Insure the Intime shipment of equipment’s & Material at site as per site requirement to avoid any delay in project schedule.
 Supervise & Manage all the Installation, Pre-commissioning and commissioning testing of equipment like 380/132GIS &13.8KV MV Switchgear, power Transformers, Substation Auxiliary Transformers, Reactors, 13.8KV Capacitor banks, RMU’s, AC/DC Panels, Indoor outdoor Lighting System, Substation grounding & shielding system. HVAC & Firefighting & Fire Alarm system, Control & Protection Panels, AMR, TFR, Station Batteries & battery chargers, Fiber Optic system, SAS, Scada & Telecommunication, LAN/WAN & PDS system with the coordination of respective divisions.
 Review contractors' claims/invoices related to construction works. Assist in negotiations with contractors regarding the value of claims or changes

Management:
 Overall responsible for all the management issues (Assigning the duties & monitor the performance, Annual Performance reports, Transfer, posting, promotion, salaries, medical & leave issues, interface between staff & higher management), which relates to NCC, RCC, Sub Station/Transmission Line Operation & Maintenance.
 Work involved to looking after all the administrative, financial and Technical matters of all ongoing Projects in all Subdivisions of South Region Mutant.
 Responsible for team building, right man for right job, on job & strengthen their confidence by giving ownership confidence by obliging them moral & financial appreciations, training programs to enhance the skills of the team to bring them a value able asset of organization.

Technical
 Supervising & Monitoring all subdivisions new & running projects from Planning & design stage up to completion of the projects.
 Responsible to manage routine & preventive Operation & Maintenance schedule activities in coordination with all the subdivisions to insure the stability of telecom.
 Performing regular site visits as per schedule for all ongoing projects in each site to insure the in-time completion of the project with in assigned budget, time & scope.
 Study the existing SCADA & Telecom network, prepare upgradation plane & demonstrate to higher management for approval.
 Close coordination with all the SCADA & Telecom system vendors local team for day to day system problems & ensure smooth running of the system.
