1. Overall responsible for all the social mobilization of activities in the region
2. Conducting the Potential Contact Persons workshops
3. Guiding & assisting Social Mobilizers by:
a. making contact with and organising local communities in the most appropriate forms of organisation (in the given situational context).
b. training local leaders and activities in the basics of organising communities and introducing a programme of awareness, and skill development.
c. training concerned local persons in maintaining records, and developing plans (prior to actual training) for the utilization of skill training at the community level.
d. exchanging ideas and experiences with management and field staff as to inculcate the spirit of debate and discussion within Project implimenters.
e. studying existing organisational structures in region, and identifying area of immediate concern and high priority around which community groups can be organised.
f. managing for Project interventions such as Mobilization, Community Physical Infrastructure, Health awareness activities, Nonformal Education , capacity building of CBOs etc. in collaboration with concern sections
g. in preparing monthly /quarterly workplan
4. Responsible to check the Daily / Monthly quarterly work plans and reports of Social Mobilizers
5. Providing data of field to Monitoring & Evaluation Section in time
6. Liaison with relevant Local Line Departments, NGOs
7. Facilitating the Co-Workers for better implementation of project goals
8. Make harmony in all section for better implementation of programme activities at field level.
9. Seek guidance from Regional Programme Officer in case of problems in the assigned work.
10. Carry out any special assignments given out by Regional Programme Officer / Core Support Unit Coordinator / General Manger / Chief Executive Officer & assist in any other matter within your field of Competence.
Organize/sensitize local communities towards activities related to identified areas and pertinent issues.
Responsible for organizing/strengthening village level communities into viable and coherent organization that can work towards livelihood improvement and improved wetlands conservation.
Conducting ecological and socio-economic survey and participatory Rural Appraisals (PRA) and apply other research tasks.
Prepare work plans.
Coordinate with other technical and administrative staff for conservation of SPO and its project.
Keep a close liaison with the communities through meeting with them on a regular basis.
Maintain a close liaison with other NGOs and Govt. official in the area.
Organizing training and other events for local communities.
Ensure equitable gender participation and development initiatives.
Keep regular record of field activities.
Develop appropriate motivation resources
Preparation of certain proposal on certain issues.
Takes lead role in establishing first contact with community.
Carries out the necessary social mapping and identifies suitable community activists to start the program.
Conduct Survey to spontaneous settlement/communities/villages in target districts to analyze the situation.
Conduct meeting with VRC during assessment and involve them to access beneficiaries.
Ensure the verification process must be completed before distribution of NFI.
Ensure the each beneficiary has registration on database system for registration & verification.
Organize and participate in NFI distributions with the guidance of the Coordinator.
Prepares a monthly progress report for the project coordinator giving details of the result obtained from the field in terms achieved targets.
Undertakes any other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
Conduct Community meetings for Social Mobilization.
To facilitate the teachers in the schools.
Identify and mobilize the volunteers from community to sustain the efforts for best implementations of project.
