Associate system engineer
Responsible for overall management and maintenance of around 500 computers around SZABIST University campus.
I am required to provide trouble shooting, installations, fault finding, and resolve any user generated queries without escalating the issue.
Currently working in a team of 15 people who are responsible for managing the IT infrastructure around SZABIST.
Additional job responsibilities also include:
• Supporting and managing ZabDesk (University Management System).
• Conducting online admission test for various departments.
• Configuration and management CISCO Catalyst 2960+ switches on CISCO packet tracer
• Configuring mdaemon and outlook express on various staff and faculty PCs
• Configured Thunder Bird, Outlook Express, Imap and MAC support.
• Managing active directory forest for all SZABIST university students.
• Software installations as per requirement issued by the faculty.
• Report generations and plagiarism checking on turnitin.
• Compiling log reports of every user generated issue/query.
• Compiling inventory reports of all IT equipment.
• Management of SZABIST domain.
