Assistant Manager Production Planning & Operations Control | Data Analyst
To implement a production plan, budget, and timelines according to production specifications
Determine production requirements based on plant capacity and production specifications
To implement planned workflow and schedules for production departments
Assist in production risk assessment and mitigation activities
Conduct daily meetings to keep track of production schedules
To assist in controlling production schedules and meet material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials to meet production requirements
To develop and maintain reports relating to process, product, and operation on-time performance. Suggests seniors/management when on-time order delivery is in jeopardy
Coordinates sub-contracted orders through the purchasing/procurement department
Performs physical counts of raw material and work in process (WIP) inventory, identifying and solving inventory variances

Participate in cost reductions and productivity improvement programs
Work pro-actively, on a daily basis, with the manufacturing middle management, procurement, and other departments to ensure schedules are maintained.

Maintain All documents of inspection results by completing reports and logs.
Summarizing re-work and waste, inputting data into a quality database.
Verify work order quantities and data bar information meet work order specifications.
Routine QA inspections and test material for defects as required.
Reworks defects as needed.
Communicates quality issues with press operators as they arise.
Assembles packing materials.
Attaches identifying tags or labels to products as required.
Loads and unloads material to and from pallets manually.
Submits maintenance requests for repairs as needed.
