·       Work with the Environment and Social safeguard and other specialists in the consulting firm and ADB in preparing a more detailed implementation plan for the Gender Action Plan (GAP) with updated timeframes, as necessary to ensure that those actions and activities are implemented, and monitored, complied with and reported in accordance with ADB’s relevant policies
·       Provide inputs in the design of gender sensitivity training for teachers and BISE Assessors, and work with Teacher Training and Examination Reform Specialists and other specialists (national and international) in conducting gender sensitivity training
·       Ensure the timely implementation of the GAP, monitor the achievements of gender targets, and regularly report on its implementation
·       Collect sex-disaggregated data to monitor progress in achieving targets of the GAP
·       Develop and implement systems for collecting sex-disaggregated data to monitor and report progress in achieving targets of the GAP
·       Support the Teacher Training Specialist and education content consultants to carry out actions and activities specified in the GAP
·       Assist the PIU in preparing the section on social and gender in the quarterly and annual reports
·       Through the conduct of social/gender orientations/training, ensure that all project implementers, partners and stakeholders are aware of the project’s social/gender targets and know how to incorporate gender in their specific job descriptions
·       Work with the M&E specialist to incorporate gender indicators in the project monitoring system, and participate in the monitoring of project activities to ensure that progress towards achieving gender equality results is reported in each monitoring and review activity, including providing gender inputs to the project’s progress report
·       Review and refine social/gender indicators in consultation with the PIU project director and the ADB RM social/gender specialist, as necessary, to ensure that the project realistically addresses challenges in a timely manner
·       Apprise the ADB RM social/gender specialist on the progress towards meeting targets, specifically by submitting a filled-in social/GAP implementation and monitoring form on a quarterly basis
·       Draft the social/gender safeguards section of the Project Completion Report
·       Ensure the participation of all segments of the population including parents, community members, civil society organizations (CSOs), parent-teacher committees and others concerned in consultations and social awareness-raising activities
·       Develop and set up a gender-responsive M&E system for the project in collaboration with an M&E specialist.
·       Apply the baseline information from SELD’s existing education information management system (Annual School Census (ASC)) to develop a comprehensive project monitoring system (PMS) to generate data systematically on the inputs and outputs as well as the indicators to be used to measure project impact in collaboration with monitoring & evaluation specialist and consulting firms.
·       Refine PMS in collaboration with an M&E specialist as the data will be utilized to confirm achievable targets.
·       Perform such other functions in the area of gender and social safeguards, as may be assigned by the PIU project director/project manager.

Project:  Program for Improved Nutrition in Sindh (PINS) – EU Funded ((District Matiari)
Follow CMAM protocols while operating OTP sites according to quality indicators. Create and deliver monthly, bi-annually and annually reports to the management. Produce operational and administrative reviews by gathering, selecting, revising, and retaining variety of key information. Examine challenge while tracking plan, telling deviations of deliberate sports, and picking out desires of reprogramming. Build capacity on community based management of acute malnutrition protocols. Render keen eye for details to oversee the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of the project. Offer the progress and issues while contributing in district liaison group meeting. Design lessons learned as well as record best practices of evaluations to incorporate studies in project reports. Organize key information and present inputs to create and update progress reports.  Examine data and produce progress reports on the major activities on a monthly basis.

Project: Program for Improved Nutrition in Sindh (PINS) – EU Funded (Two Districts: Tando Allahyar & District Matiari)
Played a key role as an Officer in designated districts to examine district mapping data shared by partners. Steered monitoring visit at OPT sites, outreach area and Nutrition Stabilization Center (NSC) as per the developed ACF monitoring checklist and WHO protocols. Generated and retained visit reports to share overview of ground situation and findings/observations of the visit by using standardize monitoring check list and provide an over view of ground situation. Held full accountability for producing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual performance and sectoral program/project reports for the management and partners to keep them informed of program progress. Led de-brief meetings and monthly progress reviews of partners on a monthly basis to share observations/findings of the visit. Delivered organization progress at the district level while participating in district coordination committee for nutrition (DCCN) chaired by DC.

US Consulate funded promoting democratic values amongst young people especially young women
Assumed and maintained responsibility for creating youth integrity clubs in various educational institutions in Sindh. Exhibited success stories in gender and social development as well as relations in gender mainstreaming. Gathered information through developing and monitoring quarterly reports.

Empowering Rural women by developing sustainable livelihood sources and encouraging home bas entrepreneurs
Made a vocational training committee to produce training materials on community management skill for VTC members. Developed and explained success stories of the women to run business magnificently and incorporate gender/social development objectives in government partners, green rural development of staff, donors, and key stakeholders. Administered business creation activities to BDPSs’ in local market to build the confidence and to learn marketing strategies. Managed five groups of technical and business trainings from 10 to 15 days to registered women on marketing, linkage building, packing packaging, value addition, color combination & designing to business development service providers (BDSPS). Prepared and delivered business plan to house hold level women as well as provided skill tool kit among the 150 females for the economic empowerment. Oversaw adult education courses to enhance literacy and financial skills of 150 identified business entrepreneurs. Interacted with experts to formulate business skills development training curriculum for five groups. Addressed programmatic issues as well as handled everyday tasks while cooperating with project staff. Actively contributed in meetings to represent the project and raise the advocacy issues. Generated and upheld inception reports, work plans, and donor progress/impact reports for the project.

·          Developed and demonstrated training curriculum on importance of gender, importance of women importance to increase awareness among local communities regarding gender importance and women empowerment.

Project: Darul-ul- Aman (Shelters for women survivors) reforms
Designed victory stories of the project to support women survivors in gender sensitization issues. Prepared capacity in gender mainstreaming. Ensured the renovation and constructions of DarulAmans as well as built synergies and productive relations with women survivors of DarulAmans (shelters for women) in three district of Sindh, Sukkur, Larkana, and Hyderabad. Delivered necessities materials to the residents of Darul Aman. Created systems to share learning through process documentation, reviews, and impact assessment as per project strategy and work plans to improve project quality.
