Communication Officer
My overall responsibilities are to develop and implement an effective and comprehensive communication strategy that promotes the picture of the Pakistan Polio Eradication Programme and the efficacy and importance of the polio vaccine to the public with the help of print, electronic and social media stream.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist and support to Communication Team in the development and implementation of the Communications Strategy
• Assist, support, and oversee the production and circulation of all publications, press releases, newsletters, brochures, annual reports, policy briefs, and IEC material
• Support in efforts to implement communication strategy through social media, website, and digital communications
• Assist and support in the development of highly engaging communications materials and digital content, including stories, website copy, and social media to promote the impact of vaccination & essential immunization, expanding digital dissemination outlets for information, websites, social media
• Production, editing, and post-processing of photographs, videos/testimonials, documentaries, and other social media content
• Creation and development of messaging materials (audio-visual) as part of the communications strategy
• Advocacy with policymakers, administrators, religious heads, and local influencers for conscience building to contribute to the national cause of polio eradication
• Organizing training, workshops, community sensitization, and mobilization sessions
