• To make sure that the drivers complete the logbooks accurately after each trip.
• To report to Logistics Manager if any problems develop with vehicles, so that plans can be made.
• To ensure that all generators are running effectively, that logbooks are fully maintained and that they are serviced on time. And to report any defects to logistics officer.
• To proactively carry out procurement for health facilities as required and to ensure that the Programme teams plan their procurement through procurement planning procedures Procurement planning chart and SRQ.
• To assist in maintenance of office and warehouse and to constantly check if any other suitable buildings are available for leasing.
• To ensure that procurement procedures are followed to the full and to liaise with the logistics officer if issues occur.
• To fully understand all logistic procedures for compliance purposes and to ensure that they are followed to the full and to report any irregularities to the logistical Manager
• Ensure that security guidelines are fully implemented, respected and followed by all Merlin staff.
• Ensure ongoing security information is collected and analyzed through the logistics team - and acquired knowledge passed on sufficiently to new members. .
