Control Room Operator
I was deployed in Kohinoor Textile Mills Power Pant Division as CRO. My key Responsibilities include
Operation and Maintenance of 11 KV distribution system.
Maintenance of distribution system equipments that includes Transformers, Motors, Generators and Feeder Panels.
M.V. and L.V. cable laying in duct lines and trenches.
DOL starters and Star Delta starters.
Testing of cables using High voltage Tester and megger test.
Maintenance and Calibration of different gauges, Switches and Instruments e.g.
Preventive maintenance of 380 /400 v induction motors up to 30 HP, bearing inspection & replacement, overhauling & power lead inspection/replacement.
Generator protection relays.
Bus bar protection relays.
Transformer protection relays.
Maintenance of power breakers of different range in LV and MV system.
Responsibilities for smooth and reliable operation of Power Plant by maintaining the equipment / machinery to highly technically smooth operation by replacing / repairing the parts with the help of experienced operation and maintenance team. Responsible for safe and trouble free operation and maintenance of all electrical equipment of power plant including transmission lines and of 11KV line breaker and Transformers.
