With 14 years of professional experience, I have served as a GBV-Prevention & Response specialist across various international non-governmental organizations (INGOs). Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to providing comprehensive GBV Case Management and Psycho-social Support to survivors of gender-based violence. Additionally, I have played a pivotal role in enhancing the capacities of numerous stakeholders within the Afghan community, including case workers, community mobilizers, gender support groups, community health workers, religious leaders, opinion leaders, health professionals, teachers, and other key individuals. These efforts have been focused on six districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, namely Buner, Swat, Peshawar, Sawbi, Haripur, Mansehra, and Dir. My expertise also extends to the development and implementation of impactful information, education, and communication materials, as well as training manuals addressing crucial topics such as Gender-Based Violence, Human Rights, Gender Discrimination, Domestic Violence, Harmful Traditional Practices, and Equal Access to Education and Health.

Ensuring technical supervision and coaching for GBV Case Workers working with survivors of GBV and those at risk- beneficiaries at the WGSS and health facilities;
Manage, coach and orient the GBV Case Workers on GBV case Management and GBVIMS data entry;
Ensure all case management related M&E tools are utilized, information collected, analyzed and actions taken to ensure quality service provision;
Supervise and monitor case management action plans/safety plans for beneficiaries developed by Case Workers;
Ensure proper documentation of cases and follow-up processes;
Collect, compile and analyze monthly reports from the team and submit to central level;
Work closely with the WPE officer and project manager on all issues related to programs and activities;
Work closely with WPE officer to regularly update GBV referral pathway in collaboration with Social Welfare Department, Health department and other service providers;
Participate and ensure participation of case workers in peer-to-peer or other capacity building initiatives implemented at the sector level;
Organize individual weekly and monthly meetings with GBV Case Managers and GBV Case Workers;
Ensure participation in Field level case management coordination meetings and case conferences;
Engage with district level GBV service providers including government and non-government, for the establishment of case management system.
o Organized and conducted awareness sessions and on job training for camp-based health staff, Gender Support groups helping groups in refugee’s camps, volunteers and staff of partner’s organization in the camps. Topics covered psychosocial support, Harmful Traditional Practices, Human rights, Women rights, Gender equality, Protection, Basic support for survivors, and cultural support for survivors and GBV principles.
o Built partnership with key organizations and individuals in the Afghan Refugee camps.
o Identified demographic characteristics of both survivors and perpetrators of GBV.

o Designed BCC strategies that directly address previously identified barriers to behavior change, ensuring that all eligible communities and individuals are reached in timely and appropriate ways.
