Work as Mechanical engineer in coal fire power plant at Rupafil Limited
As a Mechanical Engineer at the project, I have worked in following activities during Erection, Commissioning and Operations of 1x6.8 MW Coal Fired Power Plant.
- Drawing reading and verification of civil designs in comparison with mechanical designs.
- Mechanical fabrication, installation and erection work according to drawings as per consultant\'s advice.
- I was part of the team which inspected the jobs of Installation, Erection, Commissioning and Operation of 35 Ton Circulating Fluidized Bed Boiler.
- Inspection and verification of Radio-graphic testing and Post Weld Heat Treatment of High pressure steam pipeline.
- Inspection and verification of Installation, Erection, Commissioning and Operation of 6.8MW Condensing Type Impulse Steam Turbine.
- Inspection and verification of Welding, installation, surface protection and paint work along with Installation, alignment, leveling, hydro-static testing of raw water, demin water, cooling water, lubrication and ignition oil, compressed air, steam, limestone, chemical dosing, firefighting pipeline of the power plant.
- Inspection and Verification of Fabrication and installation work of Water and Oil Storage Tanks along with sandblasting and paint.
- Experience of dealing and meeting with Contractors and Consultants. Issuance of minutes of meeting and daily progress reporting to higher management.
- BOQ and Bill verification of Pipeline, Mechanical Equipment, Structure and Brackets, Insulation work.
- Daily Inspection of rotary equipment and mechanical systems of the power plant to make sure that operation of power plant is not disturbed.
