Natural gas is Homogenous Liquid of low viscosity and low density. It may also be defined as a complex mixture of combustible hydrocarbon gases and impurities. Common impurities in the Natural gas streams include Carbon dioxide, water vapour, hydrogen sulphide and nitrogen. These impurities are corrosive, and hydrogen sulphide is also toxic, hence removal of the Contaminants is necessary to meet pipeline requirements.
