thorough knowledge of the welding inspection to analyze the quality of

Shift Charge Engineer
Duties:
▪ Responsible for the smooth and reliable operation of 147 MW Patrind Power Plant by using SCADA system
▪ To Monitor, identify and acknowledge abnormalities in the power plant, weir and water measuring and flood warning system.
▪ To check the operation and control system of weir radial gates.
▪ To issue PTWs to maintenance sections for maintenance purpose and to provide mandatory protection to the maintenance personnel to carry out the maintenance activities safely and effectively.
▪ To manage operational activities in all type of conditions occurring in the power plant i.e.normal operation, emergency eventualities, system disturbances, tripping and restoration of generators and transmission lines, abnormalities faced by auxiliary systems etc.
▪ To operate the overflow & underflow radial gates, flap gates in order to maintain the water level according to the reservoir condition and to deal with large inflows.
▪ To monitor the hydrological conditions vigilantly for adjusting the Plant capacity as per availability and to keep NPCC/RCC well informed about any revisions in Declared availability.
▪ To operate the Power house according to the load demands instructed by National Power Control Centre (NPCC) and Regional Control Centre (RCC).
▪ Making of SOP\'s, operation manuals for each mechanical facility and worksheets.
▪ To monitor the mechanical/electrical equipment for safe operation.
Asst.Engineer Mechanical
Duties:
▪ Provides overall management required to maintain all site equipment and system.
▪ Develops and implements maintenance strategy to achieve maximum plant reliability to meet customer requirement in the most safe, reliable economical and environmentally safe manner.
▪ Manages routine and planned maintenance.
▪ Prepare preventive scheduling maintenance of all generating units.
▪ Review daily operation and maintenance reports.
▪ Co-ordinates with Dy.D O&M and other O&M support team for resolution of complex issues related
to maintenance.
▪ Communicate with Electrical Distribution department for load management.
▪ Communicate with Electrical Distribution department to ensure regular inspection of 11kv transmission line to avoid power outage.
