Description:
Completed Lahore Ring Road Project (southern loop) with FWO. Worked primarily on Bridges and Earth work.
Responsibilities
It is basically a Highway project that includes 13 Girder Bridges, 7 Subways, Box Culverts, Ditches, and Drainage etc. Being a Site Engineer I have checked all the Work according to the approved Drawings and clients technical specifications. My responsibilities were as following
1)Coordination between construction management, site inspectors and client inspection staff to ensure the quality and progress of work.
2)Inspection and Supervision of all the phases that lead to construction of Piles as per the given contractual specifications.
3)Ensured the quality work for construction of all Bridge components and dealt with the problems that arose on site, that included
oInspection of pier shafts
oInspection of transom and concrete pads
oInspection and supervision of I-Sec Girders casting and launching
oInspection of deck slabs
4)Monitored the working of concrete Plant and ensured that concrete is as per required mix design and specifications.
5)Checked the erection of Reinforced Earth Panels.
6)Inspected the subways reinforcement, supervised concreting and all other activities during subways construction.
7)Inspected Box Culverts, Pipe Culverts and Drainage.
Worked on embankment formation.
