To identify, determine and achieve health & safety standards and objectives.
To develop, review and revise all H & S related SOPs.
To check and maintain fire alarm system and ensure SOP compliance thereof.
To maintain H&S legal compliance documentation.
To Manage & Ensure smooth performance of Effluent Treatment Plant (SBR).
To check and report the confined space procedure compliance.
To inspect all fire extinguishers monthly and ensure expiry and refilling dates.
To coordinate accident / incident reporting, investigation and analysis.
Maintain health and safety records and certificates required under regulations.
Arrange periodical meetings, record minutes of meeting and distribute.
To check and report the compliance of first aid training.
To check and report the compliance of hygienic and cleanliness.
To check and report the compliance of medical checkups of all factory personnel specifically Cephalosporin sensitivity tests.
To check and report the compliance of pest & pills controls.
Organize safety and firefighting training, safety talks etc.
To arrange and organize safety and health programs and promotional activities (e.g. campaign etc) that will cause to improve safety and health awareness.
To facilitate risk assessment of head office and factory.
To ensure proper function of Effluent Treatment Plant of waste water.
To check and report for keeping all safety equipment in order in the plant, all machinery have safely functions and are operational.

I was working as a HSE Officer in AMCORP Engineering & Construction (Pvt) Limited
My job responsibilities includes,
– Ensure that HSE objectives and targets are met as per HSE Management System, Policies Standards and Procedures at site.
– Identify record & close out the violation & non conformances on the site in co-ordination with the HSE in-charge.
– Conduct HSE HITRA, Job Safety Analysis, Tool box meeting and HSE meetings.
– Develop and implement Emergency Response Procedures and arrange emergency drills, bridging documents and handle any emergency as per ERP.
– Develop preliminary and final investigation report of all serious incidents.
– Submit the daily observation sheet to the HSE in-charge.
– Promotes HSE awareness through safety talks and HSE site team meeting.
– Collecting the pictorial equipment check list from both light vehicle & earth moving equipment and counter verifying at-least three of them randomly in a week with their signature.
– Ensure that all firefighting system, detection system and lifesaving equipment on-board are maintained and functional all the time.
– Knowledge of requirements of acts and normative documents on the issues of safety, labor protection, environmental protection and applicable standards.
– Verify & maintain appropriate waste segregation a frequent waste dispose from site.
– Check, verify & maintain the permit to work requirements and ensure compliance.
– Ensure PPE compliance on site.
– Conduct random checks for the license, Defensive Driving Training & Third party certificates of all light and earth moving equipment.
