During this Training period had done various tasks given by the senior engineers such as,

1)Preparation of Load Lists and Substations SLDs
2) LV/MV Cable Sizing Calculations
3) Designing of Lightning and Earthing Protection System
4) UPS Designing for the buildings and substation with battery sizing calculation
5) Lighting calculation of substation for normal and emergency mode using Dialux
6) Familiarized with various International standards and practices such as IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and Qatargas
7) Also assist my Lead and Senior Engineers on a Qatargas Project.

Final Year Project
Title: Substation Automation Based on IEC 61850 We can probably depict the money saving advantage of the advancement of ordinary control, observing and insurance gear for substations into \"The coordinated Substations\", completely using Information Technology, IT. The new innovation in present day Substation Automation systems, with protection, neighborhood control, checking and serial correspondence gives various new open doors and money saving advantages with regards to operation, support and blame examination. Likewise new programmed reclamation systems, in view of data from the substations can be considered to lessen the blackout time.
