take water samples • carry out laboratory testing of samples for chemical or microbiological parameters and, in the case of drinking water, assess the quality of taste and clarity; • analyses statistical data on water quality samples; • visit sites of concern, such as potential sources of pollution or contamination, and sources of complaints about drinking water quality; • liaise with customers and representatives from regulatory authorities; • investigate reasons for lapses in water quality and suggest changes or solutions to these problems; • provide advice on avoiding problems, for example, to businesses discharging effluent; • negotiate charges for effluent discharges; • contribute to projects concerning water quality improvement; • arrange for emergency action in response to pollution-causing incidents; • conduct research related to water quality and set up field surveys; • Share information with water quality professionals from other agencies. • Prepare water quality reports for water • Deliver water samples to the laboratory for analysis; • Ensure the required documentation for each sample is complete and correct; monitor sampling schedules daily to ensure the timely completion of sampling.

• Planning and implementing of all the operations required for the Health & safety of Employees, self-employed persons and surrounding population. • Looking after all Environmental parameters affected by construction work at active construction site, asphalt plant, workshop site and road traffic etc.; and implementing mitigation measures deliberated in EMP, • Applying and monitoring all techniques and mitigation measures for the control of noise water and air pollution, • Delivering tool box talks regarding first aid, emergency response, traffic management, vehicles maneuvering, housekeeping, crane safety etc. • Liaison with national highway and motorway police regarding traffic management.  Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support Health, Safety and Environmental management.  Maintain relevant HSE logs and documentation.  Assist in the compliance of applicable laws and regulations.  Prepare applicable HSE reports as necessary.  Provide assistance and advice on HSE issues to make recommendations to facility management.  Participate in detailed incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis  Promote incident prevention for the benefit of employees and visitors.  Assist in the development and presentation of relevant HSE training  Observe HSE regulations, wears all required safety equipment, courage safe working practices, corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports them to the proper personnel.  Ability to work with employees and achieve cultural change in the face of potential resistance  Maintain positive and proactive relations with managers and employees, as well as our customers and regulatory agencies.  Perform other work related tasks as required as assigned
