Android Place Location Finder Using GPS

The World is a global village. The reason behind this is the extensive technology that brings in humanity together at one spot. Our daily experience is that an event that occurs at one end of the world is as transmitted to other end with in no time. So technology is facilitating human being in all aspects and race of life. Smart phones technology that has been introduced in the near past has done marvelous job to facilitate humanity and the future is about to governed by smart phone industry. One of the features of the smart phone is Mobile Apps that are almost in billions that help humans in all aspects of life. These Mobile Apps are diverse in nature from entertainment to scientific activities. Our FYP is actually an Android Mobile App that will help people in navigation and searching places around the person in range. This app will be equipped with rich places directory the maximum Google is providing these days. The application would take user current location as input and will populate a list of results against user search there user can select one of his choice. The app would be able to display the time require to reach that place along with drawing route on map. User would be able to search manually or with in specific places directory provided by the App. The app would help user in finding path to the user’s desired location. In order to achieve the above functionality we would like to discuss the underlying tools and technology.
