Major Responsibilities.

Spearhead and manage Infrastructure (Water supply and Sanitation, Buildings, Roads, Parks and Horticulture) projects in Regi Model Town, Hayatabad Town, and Peshawar City for Peshawar Development Authority.
Work closely with diverse teams, including architects, planners, surveyors, and contractors, ensuring seamless collaboration.
Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, aligning scope, resources, and risks for optimal outcomes.
Oversee entire contract lifecycle in urban development across these locations, ensuring legal compliance and risk mitigation.

The European Union supports the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to implement the Provincial Policy \"Community-Driven Local Development (CDLD)\" through financial resources, and technical assistance provided by Hulla & Co. Human Dynamics KG. The overall objective is to build responsiveness and effectiveness of the State to restore citizen trust, stimulate employment and livelihood opportunities, and ensure the delivery of basic services.
Major Responsibilities.
 
-  Responsible for the timely completion of various construction activities according to approved work plan, budget and specified quality standards.
-  Planning by preparing and updating implementation/work plans for WASH and infrastructural projects.
-  Control and appraise work progress
-  Review drawings and other design documentations as per required specifications ensuring adherence to applicable construction and/or engineering standards and that works are completed to the highest standards.
-  Provide preliminary design and cost input on developing business opportunities for Shelter, WASH or infrastructure projects.
-  Assemble design and construction documentation packages including all supporting documents
-  Assist and/or prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BoQ) and cost estimates for all Shelter, WASH and other infrastructural works including construction of schools, hospital, streets etc
-  Conduct quality control and prepare progress reports for construction works as required and facilitate the compilation of inputs for monitoring and evaluation
-  Provide advice and direction to ensure good environmental practices and controls during construction and mitigate environmental impacts of the works
-  Monitor the timely submission of payment requests by the contractors/Suppliers.
-  Provide advice and coordination of the works in conjunction with the contract management section and the contractor
-  Assist the QA/QC and project engineers with monitoring the contractors work and performance
-  Review QA/QC site visit and material testing reports to ensure that sampling, testing and inspection of material are carried out regularly and works are implemented in compliance with design specifications
-  Provide technical input and assist the procurement management section with contractual matters for the completion of the respective contracts.
-  Review and endorse any design changes that are processed by other parties
-  Assist in building and developing capacity of other technical personnel in construction techniques including good practices and troubleshooting methods
-  Timely administration of project agreements including budge adjustments, amendments and official correspondence with donors and clients
-  Development of concept notes, proposal and drafting intermediate and final report to donors.
-  Working experience with various donors including EU, USAID, UNHCR, UNICEF etc.

Under the Framework of the One UN in Pakistan, Refugee Affected and Hosting Areas (RAHA) is a Joint Programme Component within the UN Delivering as One. The inception of RAHA – in 2009 – owes to the presence of three million Afghan refugees in Pakistan in the preceding three decades, resulting in social, economic and environmental consequences. Almost 1.7 million Afghans refugees still remain in Pakistan following their large-scale repatriation in 2002.
Major Responsibilities.
-  Conduct Situation Analysis and need prioritization in Infrastructure, WASH and health Sectors in six districts of KP including (Peshawar, Nowshera, Swabi, Haripur, Lower Dir and Buner)
- Plane, Design, Approve and Implement all infrastructure schemes and develop Proposals and concept notes to be executed under RAHA.
-  Orient and guide the technical team undertaking the technical functions (survey, design, cost estimates, construction supervision etc.) in maintaining quality of works in these activities.
- Coordinate with Provincial and district Government officials, Line Departments, Implementing Partners and Other Organizations for the efficient implementation of program.
- Arrange and facilitate District Coordination Committee (DCC) meetings and represent UNDP.
- Keep a proper Management Information System (MIS) of the entire infrastructure Activities
- Provide technical advice to the team on an ongoing basis and produce necessary progress reports for the M&E function.
- Work on financial tracking and budget allocation and planning for WASH and other infrastructures.
- Contribute to monthly reporting be responsible for monitoring the construction quality to verify that work is completed as per specification and relevant codes of practice.
- Ensure a transparent and detailed monitoring system on progress of the Program activities.
- Work on the capacity building of staff members through training and development.
- Where necessary, provided support to recruitment, training and supervision of engineering staff. This may involve writing work schedules, training plans, performance objective setting and appraisals
- Contribute to Preparation of Annual Work Plan and Detail Implementation Plan.
Ensure security protocol and Coordinate with security in charge to ensure personal and program staff security. 

-   Worked in post conflict areas
-   Manage technical and engineering components related to project Assessment, Design and implementation in assigned KPK region.
-   Design architectural and structural drawings, as well as create bills of quantity, material specifications lists, and other technical documentation related to design, cost estimation and implementation of the Government infrastructure grants (Health centers, water supply and sanitation schemes)
-   Maintain working relationships with local, district, provincial and regional governmental authorities.
-   Facilitate activities that assist government authorities to liaise with community leaders, individuals and groups to identify, prioritize and implement infrastructure.
-   Assist with the negotiation of contracts or agreements with contractors, pre-qualification of contractors and overall process of bidding.
-   Assist in the procurement process and coordinate closely with procurement department for the quality and quantity.
-   Preparation of Grants implementation time frame and mile stones for contractor, s invoices.
-   Engage in the administration of grants.
-   Assist in the tracking of financial expenditure of all program funds in areas of responsibility.
-   Provide regular written and oral reports regarding the status of projects to the Senior Engineer.
-   Maintain electronic and paper records in accordance with program standards.
-   Compilation of Completion reports for each grant.
-   Drafting intermediate and final reports of the projects

Major Responsibilities:
 
-     Focal point to attend Housing reconstruction cluster meeting, making decision on behalf of UN-Habitat.
-     Work In close association with the Reconstruction Technical Adviser in formulating   technical support program.
-     Manage six teams of field engineers and social organizers under this assignment.
-     Provide technical support on Housing construction to Partner Organizations, engineers, architects, civil servants and local authorities.
-     Promotion of owner driven approaches, building back safer and durable solutions.
-     Coordinate with competent authorities for the status and progress of work. 
-     Prepare and ensure weekly, monthly, quarterly progress reports including lessons learnt and recommendations.
-     Prepare annual work plans and progress reports for the district.
-     Support the improvement of the quality of infrastructure works carried out including quality control procedures.
-  Provide Housing-specific contextual analysis as input to the Country Strategy and Contingency Plan to Reconstruction Technical Advisor
-   Ensure that the Housing project(s) actively promotes and protects the rights of effected population and operationalize the advocacy strategy
-   Develop quality Housing proposals
-   Develop Housing design, BoQ, Drawings and quality assurance components
-   Ensure generation of timely and high quality project reports
-   In close coordination with the Regional technical advisor and based on needs, develop draft programmatic approaches for further program development
-   In close cooperation with the Housing team, continuously develop the Housing project(s) based on assessment of needs and funding opportunities

Major Responsibilities:
 
- Overseeing partner staff and conducting Shelter and water supply system damage surveys, rehabilitation design, field implementation, water quality testing, and water committee trainings
-  Conduct initial review of partner design submissions and
-  Verification of the appropriate standard materials used in water supply repair and Shelter construction
-  Work in close cooperation with all key stakeholders including government authorities, community leaders, beneficiaries, partner organizations, and other providers of emergency relief
-  Ensure timely and efficient monitoring and evaluation of project activities
-  Identify opportunities for new initiatives based on the indigenous knowledge of the communities and prepare concept notes/proposals as required
-  Ensure coordination of program strategy & implementation systems with other actors, donors, and relevant government agents.
-  Preparation of BOQs/Estimates for Shelter and WASH.
