Microsoft Excel Expertise:
§ Responsible for managing the storage, inventory, and distribution of materials and equipment required.
§ Coordinating with teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials.
§ Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, organizing, and dispatching materials.
§ Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
§ Implement efficient warehouse layout and storage systems to optimize space utilization and facilitate easy access to materials.
§ Supervise warehouse staff, assign tasks, and provide training to ensure smooth operations.
§ Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
§ Coordinate with teams to forecast material requirements and ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
§ Implement inventory control measures, such as implementing stock rotation and reorder point systems, to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
§ Collaborate with Site managers, suppliers, and contractors to plan and schedule material deliveries based on production requirements.
§ Coordinate transportation logistics, including arranging shipments, coordinating with freight forwarders, and managing customs clearance procedures.
§ Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials, including packing lists, delivery notes, and invoices.
§ Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, such as implementing new technologies, automation, or inventory management systems.
§ Participate in project meetings and provide input on logistics and material management aspects to support project planning and execution.
§ Ensuring office supplies are maintained, including checking inventory and working with vendors to ensure adequate levels of necessary supplies at all times.
§ Occasionally traveling off-site to deliver reports or files to other departments.
§ Ensuring the confidentiality and security of files and filing systems
§ Assisting managers in compiling annual budget information and reports
§ Maintaining all policies and procedures manuals
§ Developing strong relationships with cross-functional teams and departments
§ collaborating with the human resources department to identify and reach staffing requirements.
§ Daily routine correspondence and reply preparation (both for internal and external requirements).
§ Designate persons to look after the responsibilities of housekeeper and receptionist cum telephone operator.
§ Supervise the following designate personals, Vehicle maintenance and related jobs, Official equipment maintenance, Photocopier Telephone/Fax/PABX Maintenance, Civil defence, Canteen & Security Administration, Factory and Office up keeping, Firefighting and first Aid, Water, Gas and Electricity, Laundry etc.
