I am a CA finalist of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, with a record of outstanding professional performances; having acquired a diverse and in-depth professional work experience while working for the organization throughout my career.

The qualifications I have pursued so far have led to the development of my analytical and decision- making abilities and have enabled me to provide value added services for my employer. Exposure to a wide spectrum of businesses that includes financial services, advertising industry, manufacturing industry and trading businesses has certainly helped me to understand different organizations along with a variety of work experience has provided me with an in-depth view of key business processes including implementation of IFRS, financial analysis, accounting and internal control systems, corporate governance and regulatory as well as accounting frameworks for a range of industries. This experience has not only enriched me professionally but also equipped me with the traits needed to deal with different situations in an innovative, effective and efficient manner.

I believe in continuous professional development and learning that has motivated me to learn more and spread positivity through my leadership skills. Currently, I am working as Deputy Manager in Accounts Department of Surge Laboratories (Pvt) Limited. Previously, I was working as a Senior Tax Associate in the Taxation department of Grant Thornton Anjum Rahman. I was seconded as Senior Associate, Business Assurance Services in Grant Thornton Saudi Arabia, (a member firm of Grant Thornton, LLP) from January 2020 to June 2020 leading audits of Insurance, trading, and consultancy companies. Furthermore, I have been serving Grant Thornton Pakistan for the period of more than three years as Senior Associate, Business Assurance Services leading audits of Banks, manufacturing, mutual fund, service and trading companies. Having served at this position has honed my external audit, financial accounting, financial reporting, leadership, team management, organizational and communication skills, while underlining my ability to take initiative and work with a diverse set of people. Having developed effective interpersonal and presentation skills, I also enjoy working in teams. My performance over the years is representative of my determination, hard work and goal-oriented attitude all of which are essential constituents to the position I hold today.
