Main Responsibilities: • Operation, Supervision and Control of power plant through SCADA. • Maintaining Station Log, preparing trouble reports, issuing SP Tag, requesting and issuing PTW as per Safety policy of the company • Directing, collaborating and facilitating technical staff to carry out operation effectively. • Planning Preemptive remedial measures and Perform Analysis in case of any outage in the live network. • Collaboration with 132kv Marala Grid • Identifying faults and abnormalities, isolating and rectifying them from healthy parts of the system. • Monitoring & implementation of operational SOPs. • Unit pre-starting checks after maintenance/major overhauling • Co-operate with plant specialists to ensure quick recovery from service failure. • Restoration of Power house Auxiliary through diesel Generator in case of lines tripping. • Monitoring water level, Hydrology upstream and downstream, operating spillway gates proportionally • Preparation of daily operation data for Active & reactive Load. • Preparation of monthly report.
