IoT Air And Sound Pollution Monitoring System Android Application

In recent decades, the science and engineering professions have been heavily influenced by their responsibilities to the society. This responsibility has been directed towards the protection of public health and welfare. Air and sound pollution is a growing issue these days. It is necessary to monitor air quality and keep it under control for a better future and healthy living for all. Air and Noise pollution is a common environmental problem that directly or indirectly affects people health, productivity, behavior, and sometimes leading to death. Harmful gases noises are extensively found within specific environments such as Hospitals, schools and no honking areas etc. Systems are available for pollution detection but they are expensive. So we aim to develop this project by using Air and Sound sensors, Ardunio and Wi-Fi modem. Data from these sensors will be stored on servers. This allows authorities to monitor air pollution in different areas and take action against it. Also authorities can keep a watch on the noise pollution near schools, hospitals and no honking areas, and if system detects air quality and noise issues it alerts authorities so they can take measures to control the issue.
