Job ResponsibilitiesPlanned and supervised the installation testing and commissioning of Allied 3512H gas engines electrical system, including control and power cables with Allied Engineerig & Services teamPlanned and Supervised the installation of Busbar Trunking system with the Schneiders team according to the design.Troubleshooting and monitoring the machines.Look-over consultants designs and suggesting how the system/design can be improved.Assisted the production of the product by successfully addressing the problems in the machines and rectifying it and reducing downtime.Look after and responsible of Erection Testing & Commissioning of new Machines and Electrical systems on site.Troubleshooting of the existing Electrical systems and responsible for further modification in the system according to the requirements.Preparing reports for fault indication and of action plan, and executing it. And doing preventive maintenance with scheduled plans.Designing the Single Line Diagrams of the existing and new Electrical distribution and Systems in the company using AutoCAD.Making and maintaining schedule maintenance and routine maintenance and performing it. Implementingg LOTO ( Lock-out, Tag-Out) system and providing the training to perform Safe electrical maintenance jobs and to ensure HSE standards.Doing Electrical load calculations and see if in need of new electrical panels or Electrical DBs to coupe up with the new installed devices or lights.Worked on USGBS LEED certification.
The Project was the Extension of already existing 220kV/132kV grid station with the extension of one 220kV trafo bay as well as of 132kV trafo bay. The erection process started with the erection of every steel structure including 1 220kv gantry column with a beam and two 132kv gantry column and one 132 kV beam on it. and the other small structure for instrument transformers and insulators. Supervised the erection of 63Mva auto transformer from siemens as per drawing with Sergi Protection system.
Apart from errection work i have througly examined and successfully done the Cable laying and termination process from my team under supervision of testing engineer from Siemens . This project is in its final phase.
Performed duties as Site Engineer in Bahria Orchard Lahore which includes complete erection of two trafo-bays of 132kV level also includes cable laying and termination process . The Main Client was Bahria Town. and the main contractor was the Siemens. Besides these managed site budgeting and also client handling with proper work satisfaction .
Started my first job in Mirza & co. as a trainee Electrical Engineer on a project of erection and commissioning of 132kV grid station . The main client was Coca Cola factory in Gujranwala. My responsibilities were to supervise the erection process of the steel structure as well as the erection of electrical equipment that includes erection of power transformers and the other instrument transformers including current and voltage transformers and also their commissioning after proper on site testing.
