Marketing Internship
NATURE OF THE WORKI performed various tasks under supervision of my senior who actually gets the orders from J. and other brands who then finalizes the orders. The orders were guided to me like we have got an order of 200,000m etc. and asks me to evaluate and monitor the whole processing from dyeing to dispatch. I have to monitor the process of dyeing which then goes through the weaving department. I need to get the cut pieces of it to further send it to clients who then approves or disapproves it. After getting it approved I will handover him half or some of his order and the rest is work in process. I am thankful to Mr. Esar Khan (Deputy Manager Marketing at Gul Ahmed Textile) for making things smooth for me by guiding every step to me.TRAINING ANALYSISThe knowledge received while in the duration of the internship includes real-world business situations, monitoring of clothing line from dyeing to dispatch and follow the process of it. Moreover, dealing with clients has improved my human and conceptual skills. Overall it was an exciting experience as I only had to look after the product quality according to the customer needs and discipline in production line.WORK ANALYSISThe work environment of the organization generally revolves around taking orders from different clients to convert yarn into finished product of clothing. The nature of work is manufacturing business on contractual basis, services covering manufacturing from dyeing to dispatch of superior quality clothing synthetic goods to our clients.RECOMMENDATIONSThe organization should also start developing new process and technological breakthrough for the betterment of the country textile industry and should provide a platform for this purpose to the experts and the students as because the future of the country textile industry is very tough and competitive to survive.
