1. Drive effective health,safety and environment and high safety standards, including strong housekeeping practices, at the Lubricant Oil Blending Plant lab to maintain a safe work environment, in compliance with Shell Pakistan Safety standards and requirements. 2. To ensure that all lubes, fuels and customers samples are accurately tested and reported within the stipulated time frame. Ensure that the company quality system and standards are maintained and followed when conducting tests. 3. As an active member of the lab quality team, manage the quality of product offering and packaging to the customer, ensuring zero product quality incidents. 4. Calibrate laboratory test equipments. 5. Ensure that all finished lubricating oils are formulated and blended in conformity with the specifications and standard approved. 6. Maintain data for GSAP system as quality management custodian for Lubricating Oil Blending Plant Operations. 7. Ensure that all quality procedures and plans as defined in the relevant ISO procedures are being strictly followed at lab. 8. Provide analytical and technical advice to the Lubricant Oil Blending Plant on rework/ re- blend of offspecs lubricants and safe disposal of rejects in a cost-effective manner. 9. Learn how to repair and conduct maintenance of laboratory equipments and will liaise with equipment supplier for immediate repair of malfunctioning instruments. 10. Developement and training laboratory new staff regarding quality matters. 11. Maintains high standards in quality Assurance system within Lubricant Oil Blending Plant as LOBP quality control focal. 12. Timely update of quality incident into tracker for all Quality incidents, including incident investigations where necessary. 13.
