I am certified Project Management Professional from PMG-Pro PM4NGOs-APMG International England, with a proven track record of 20 years professional experience in management of development and humanitarian projects. I was part of senior management team of UN agencies, INGOs and NGOs and provided strategic guidance in achieving respective Country Programme Strategies. I designed and implemented over 100 WASH, Livelihood, Shelter, Health, Education, Community Infrastructure and Environment Rehabilitation Projects in all the administrative territories of Pakistan. Developed and super headed operational and financial plans of respective projects keeping in view programme quality standards. I super headed development of programme quality standards that was replicated by HQ in other country programmes. I concluded Pakistan Flood Settlement Recovery Programme in a record time of 15 months over 100,000 beneficiary families. My average business development is around 20 million USD per year. I introduced the concept of Integrated Resource Recovery Centre in Pakistan and establishment its model in sector G-15 of Islamabad city. I provided technical assistance to Government of Pakistan on National Appropriate and Mitigation and Actions Preparations and low cost Municipal Solid Waste Management Solutions (that are 300 less than current practices. Author of Federal Budget Policy Papers in Federal Health, Education and Islamabad Budgets identifying policy gaps in achieving SDGs 3, 4 and 16. Endeavours include formulation of Pakistan's first National Sanitation Action Plan, National Behaviour Change Communication Strategy, and Provincial Strategies for Water, Sanitation, Solid Waste Management, Pakistan Country Paper on Sanitation in PACOSAN and Initiation of Polio Eradication through WASH Improvement, contributing to SDG 3, 5, 11 13. My strongest aspect is resource mobilisation and project development that included first ever ground water recharge in Sundar Industrial Estate-Lahore city, Citizens engagement in Municipal Services Development Programme, Sustainable improved WASH services in schools and decentralisation sewage treatment for urban informal settlements.

Provided technical support to Clean Green Pakistan Movement (CGPM) launched by Prime Minister of Pakistan in October 2018, through Federal Ministry of Climate Change.
Developed guidelines for operation and maintenance of public toilets was prepared and adopted by Capital Development Authority (CDA). Income of CDA was enhanced to 500 times. 
Developed total sanitation and open defecation free plans and reporting mechanisms for the provinces/regions on CGPM. 
Formulated national strategy to end open defecation by 2020 and this was rolled out to provinces for future adoption. 
Advised MoCC with legislative gaps in meeting Sustainable Development Goal 6 and 12.

Programme Management and Operations:
Staff productivity was enhanced through Delegating authority to certain limits, continues and effective communication, cutting down excessive work, focused team work plan. Crisis management tools such as risks mitigation plans were formulated for each project.
Internal coordination with different units were developed and their role and responsibilities were places in programme design phase of different projects. Staff under direct supervision and implementing partners project staff was mentored on respective projects so that maximum output is achieved.
Project tracking mechanisms and risk register were maintained by developing yearly programme operational plan as well as projects operational plans. Project inception workshops of four projects were properly designed and roles and responsibilities of project stakeholders including Govt. Skills enhancement/ capacity building of 16 field teams located in 16 different locations all over Pakistan.
Being member Local Contracting Committee (LCC) prepared procurement plans enabling provision of required resources well in time and negotiated with vendors reducing cost down by 40%.
Provided strategic guidelines in developing WASH improvement for informal urban settlements programme that was successfully concluded in 44 informal settlements. The operational cost was reduced from 30 to 10 percent.
Technical:
Developed Central Emergency Relief Fund and Early Recovery WASH Proposals as part of Humanitarian Appeal that was 100% funded. None of the UN agency appeal was 100% funded except UN-Habitat worth of USD 10.99 million and USD 1.5 million respectively.
Developed, designed and implemented community infra structure proposal worth of USD 2.47 million funded by Government of Japan.
Developed partnership with the corporate sector (Coke Foundation) through Build my School Campaign worth of USD 1 million that covered 100 schools in four provinces and two administrative units of Pakistan.
Initiated the process of determining Specific Focus Areas for UN-Habitat in Pakistan. Launched Pakistan Water Operators Partners (P-WOPs) in Pakistan Urban Forum-1 in close collaboration with World Bank and Punjab Urban Unit.
Developed Polio eradication programme through improved WASH services under ONE UN Programme.
Improved relationship with Government of Pakistan by supporting it in developing proposal on National Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMA) for first time in Pakistan, this initiative was supported by UN-ESCAP.
Programme Management and Operations:
Mobilised a team of 96 professionals in 45 days. Managed successfully a team of 96 professionals comprising of Field Coordinators, Monitoring Engineers, Senior Social Mobilisers, Social Mobilisers, Behaviour Change Communication Specialists in 16 Districts of Pakistan.
Successfully completed projects in conflict areas like Tirrah Valley, Mohmand Agency (FATA), Gadaap Town, Jacobabad (Sindh), Quetta, Jafferabad and Naseerabad (Baluchistan). Grants for Japanese Government, CIDA, USAID, KOICA, CERF were successfully managed.
Programme Quality Control was properly carried out by regular monitoring visits, placing monitoring teams at field level, mid-term reviews and projects end line evaluations.
Evaluation criteria for partners was established and managed partnership with Plan International, WWF, Indus Resource Centre, Agha Khan Rural Supports Programme, Friends Foundation, SAWFCO, Tameer-e-Khalq Foundation, Akhtar Hammed Khan Memorial Trust and Naveed Khan Foundation.
