I am currently working as Deputy Project Manager of an inclusive basic services project funded by USAID and am responsible for its planning and implementation as per project document adhering UN guidelines.

Technical:
Strenthened monitoring and evaluation tools for ongoing and proposed programmes.
Developed tools for data Collection both from secondary and primary sources along with staff training.
Developed high level research advocacy materials and presented these to provicial counterparts for policy inclusion.
Designed and developed Wprojects determining community needs as per need assessments, establishing base line studies.
Preparation of monitoring and operational framework of different projects.
Provided technical advise to Ministry of Climate Change in meeting international commitments.
Logical preparation for minimum WASH package development for high risk polio affected union councils, advising UNICEF WASH Programme for urban informal settlements.

Coordination among different programmes in developing programme quality standards. 
Developing ToRs for consultants for various assignments, mostly payment by result.
Policy research on Federal Budget for 2019-2020 on Education, Health and Islamabad Capital Territory Police, that generated 10 virtual policy dialogues resulting in charter of demand for pro citizens budget formulation.
Regular mondy morning meetings with project teams discussing issue faced in field and providing sustainable solutions on consultative bassis.
Programme Management and Operations:
Prepared Hygiene Promotion Framework that was rolled out to provinces for adoption and implementation. This is being followed in post COVID-19 situation. 
Provided technical support to Clean Green Pakistan Movement (CGPM) launched by Prime Minister of Pakistan in October 2018, through Federal Ministry of Climate Change.
Developed guidelines for operation and maintenance of public toilets was prepared and adopted by Capital Development Authority (CDA). Income of CDA was enhanced to 500 times. 
Developed total sanitation and open defecation free plans and reporting mechanisms for the provinces/regions on CGPM. 
Formulated national strategy to end open defecation by 2020 and this was rolled out to provinces for future adoption. 
Advised MoCC with legislative gaps in meeting Sustainable Development Goal 6 and 12.

Achievements:
I managed to successfully design and implement two months training programme of Local Government officials in KP on DRR, WASH and increasing municipal revenue generation. The training had a learning objectives for eighty LG officials with their implementation plan. I conceptualised online learning management system for Punjab Local Government Academies and it is on-going. KP Building Byelaws were improved through online building approval system.
Leadership:
I developed strategic plan for WASH and DRR for CPDI.
I designed successfully proposals with enhanced citizens engagement in development projects and secured funding for three projects with a total cost of USD 1 Million

Technical:
Developed, implemented flagship programme with UN agencies (UNICEF and UN-Habitat) for municipal services development programme in Sindh province, revealing citizens participation in municipal services development for effective planning, budgeting and implementation. (USAID funded)
Developed winning proposal ground water recharge, implemented successfully in Sundar Industrial Estate-Lahore. (PepsiCo Foundation)
Developed partnership with National University for Science and Technology-Islamabad (NUST-Islamabad) Campus, and developing low cost sewage water treatment units, that was 300% less than current practices.
Managed successfully a team consisting of Project Mangers, Coordinators, Officers and Associates and their mentoring for their specific roles and responsibilities by using different tools such as RACI (Roles, Accountability, Consulted and Informed) Matrix.
Carried out policy advocacy with Punjab asseembly caucus in presenting bill for Municpal Drinking Water Policy and provided technical inputs in Municiap Drinking Water Policy. 
Leadership:
Being part of Senior Management Team provided strategic guidelines to country programme, developing 5 years country programme strategy 2016-2021.
Multiyear business plan development for Urban Programme contributing towards District wide Approach for improved access to basic facilities and provision of technical support to the service providers.
Positioned WaterAid in big urban players and established relationships with World Bank, Asian Development Bank, Japan International Cooperation Agency, Swiss Development Cooperation, and Danish International Development Agency by developing research papers, infographics, briefing papers etc.
Strategically placed WaterAid in Advisory Committee of Pakistan Water Operators Network and led the process of Theory of Change resulting in its five years strategic plan.
Represented WaterAid in 7th South Asian Conference on Sanitation, International WASH Conference, Brisbane-Australia, 3rd Conference of Faecal Sludge Management, Vietnam-Hanoi and Pakistan Urban Forum.
Programme Management and Operations:
Staff productivity was enhanced through Delegating authority to certain limits, continues and effective communication, cutting down excessive work, focused team work plan. Crisis management tools such as risks mitigation plans were formulated for each project.
Internal coordination with different units were developed and their role and responsibilities were places in programme design phase of different projects. Staff under direct supervision and implementing partners project staff was mentored on respective projects so that maximum output is achieved.
Project tracking mechanisms and risk register were maintained by developing yearly programme operational plan as well as projects operational plans. Project inception workshops of four projects were properly designed and roles and responsibilities of project stakeholders including Govt. Line Departments for each project implementation was chalked out and documented.
Managed diversified implementing partners from Civil Society Organization like HANDS International, National Rural Support Programme, AGAHE, Orangi Pilot Project; academia-National University of Science and Technology; and Govt. Line Departments.

Leadership:
Positioned UN-Habitat in WASH and Community Infrastructure Clusters. Developed WASH and Community Infrastructure Programme for Pakistan Flood Settlement Recovery that was funded by Japanese Government with USD 10.99 Million and 2.47 Million respectively.
Skills enhancement/ capacity building of 16 field teams located in 16 different locations all over Pakistan.
Being member Local Contracting Committee (LCC) prepared procurement plans enabling provision of required resources well in time and negotiated with vendors reducing cost down by 40%.
Provided strategic guidelines in developing WASH improvement for informal urban settlements programme that was successfully concluded in 44 informal settlements. The operational cost was reduced from 30 to 10 percent.
Technical:
Developed Central Emergency Relief Fund and Early Recovery WASH Proposals as part of Humanitarian Appeal that was 100% funded. None of the UN agency appeal was 100% funded except UN-Habitat worth of USD 10.99 million and USD 1.5 million respectively.
Developed, designed and implemented community infra structure proposal worth of USD 2.47 million funded by Government of Japan.
Developed partnership with the corporate sector (Coke Foundation) through Build my School Campaign worth of USD 1 million that covered 100 schools in four provinces and two administrative units of Pakistan.
Initiated the process of determining Specific Focus Areas for UN-Habitat in Pakistan. Launched Pakistan Water Operators Partners (P-WOPs) in Pakistan Urban Forum-1 in close collaboration with World Bank and Punjab Urban Unit.
Developed Polio eradication programme through improved WASH services under ONE UN Programme.
Improved relationship with Government of Pakistan by supporting it in developing proposal on National Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMA) for first time in Pakistan, this initiative was supported by UN-ESCAP.
Programme Management and Operations:
Mobilised a team of 96 professionals in 45 days. Managed successfully a team of 96 professionals comprising of Field Coordinators, Monitoring Engineers, Senior Social Mobilisers, Social Mobilisers, Behaviour Change Communication Specialists in 16 Districts of Pakistan.
Successfully completed projects in conflict areas like Tirrah Valley, Mohmand Agency (FATA), Gadaap Town, Jacobabad (Sindh), Quetta, Jafferabad and Naseerabad (Baluchistan). Grants for Japanese Government, CIDA, USAID, KOICA, CERF were successfully managed.
Programme Quality Control was properly carried out by regular monitoring visits, placing monitoring teams at field level, mid-term reviews and projects end line evaluations.
Evaluation criteria for partners was established and managed partnership with Plan International, WWF, Indus Resource Centre, Agha Khan Rural Supports Programme, Friends Foundation, SAWFCO, Tameer-e-Khalq Foundation, Akhtar Hammed Khan Memorial Trust and Naveed Khan Foundation.

Achievements:
Effectively managed programs, administration and financial activities in line with the organization\'s objectives and defined programmatic areas.

Acheivements:
Provided management Support to implement Community Development, Health, Education and Training Programs for effective and efficient service delivery and carried out evidence based research for advocacy purpose. Portfoilio of SACHET was increased to 300% by increasing donor based projects.

Developed, designed and concluded three projects with UNDP-GEF and UNDP-PTF.

Facilitated the Final Monitoring and Evaluation Mission as per requirements of the monitoring mission in the capacity of Team Leader Kotli Sattian Office.

Implemented the National Conservation Strategy (NCS) in the Pakistan. Facilitated formulation of Social Mobilization and Natural Resource Management Strategy. Author of 12 Village Development Plans and spearheaded a large technical training programme and trained 500 Extension Workers and developed their operational plans.
